We checked around online for SUVs and were looking at a Highlander as one option. Not only were we impressed with the vehicle itself, but we enjoyed our experience at Olathe Toyota. We were never pressured by the salesman we worked with. He was very helpful, and respectful - even to our energetic boys! The rest of the team that we worked with were very easy to work with. Everyone simply wanted to make sure that we had a good experience. I've worked with a lot of salespeople over the years, and everything was above my expectations.

I bought 2 new cars from Olathe Toyota. One of my brand new car got involved in accident. I got it repaired from other Toyota dealer as Olathe Toyota does not have body shop. When I wanted to trade in the car involved in accident, they are giving me $10K (KBB value of non-accident is $22K). When asked in writing so that I can use it with Insurance company and trade in the car for $10K. They guy refused to give me in writing saying that he does not have time if I use the paper for litigation. He does not have time for his old customer? I think he just wanted to get a huge profit by offering very low price. Bad customer service. They definitely have lost a repeat customer.

Bob and Kelly both have made our Prius purchase such a pleasant experience! They were knowledgeable, friendly, low-pressure and fair, and we strongly believe in the great value of Toyota! We're sold! Teri & Brian Kurtz (proud owners of four Toyotas!)

After working with this dealership for hours...

After working with this dealership for hours unsuccessfully, we left without purchasing a vehicle but feeling like our sales rep, Leroy, had been extremely courteous and easy to work with. I told him that although we weren't making the purchase that day we would be happy to buy a car from him. That is still true. Leroy did an excellent sales job and was the most friendly of the sales people I met with as I test drove many other models in this class of SUV. However, upon leaving Olathe Toyota, we discovered that the business manager, who personally came out during the negotiations to assure us that there was absolutely no 2011 inventory remaining of the make and model we wanted, had lied. I was livid! They led us to believe we had missed the window for closeout 2011 inventory. Not only that, but we were unable to display inventory from other area dealerships on our phones while inside the dealership! Very deceptive. I found this to be an unfair business practice since there obviously were vehicles that matched our requirements close by. I am now driving it. And, let me be clear, it is the exact same make and model with the exact same features, not a lesser vehicle, that we settled upon. The dealership lured us in with favorable trade in promises and 0% financing on our vehicle model only to have NO inventory on hand. Instead they pushed us to buy the 2012 model at a higher interest rate and lower trade in. I believe this is known as a bait and switch business practice. I will never do business with this dealership nor recommend it. If you want quality service and fair prices, go to Legends Toyota. Ask for JaVan Clayton. You won't be disappointed.

The actual sale of the vehicle on July 9 was the best and most simple experience ever. Cheetos was great to work with, no pressure and very helpful. Even the financing side of the purchase was not too bad. However once I signed on the dotted line, it went downhill from there. We were told at receiving to go purchase new wiper blades since the vehicle needed them and it was not a Toyoto. All we had to do was bring the receipt back to get our money. Little did they tell us that it would take 10 days just to get our $24 back. The closing paperwork has been even worse to get. It has been 22 days and multiple phone calls and I still do not have the paperwork to pay the sales tax or title the vehicle. There have been promises to call me back, supposed post cards that must have gotten lost in the mail, and many excuses. Finally on August 2 I am finally told that my paperwork is ready for me to pick up. I was very excited about the experience until I walked out the door. Now I truly doubt that I will subject my friends and family to such poor customer service.
