I took my car in for the airbag recall repair. As far as I can tell, the work was completed properly, but when I picked up my car, the parking brake light... was on even though the parking brake was not engaged. I left the car but was told later it was due to the AdvanceTrac/ABS light that was on. This parking brake light had never come on in the two years the AdvanceTrac light had been on/off, so it seemed more likely that the service technician had done something to the brake (pulled too hard, perhaps, and messed up the switch?). I was told for $1000 to fix the AdvanceTrac/ABS light issue, they'd look at the parking brake light. I decided to pick up my car from Sam Pack's because I knew the parking brake issue was something separate/new and I had already had two different service techs look into the AdvanceTrac/ABS issue and knew it was not an immediate concern. When I got my car, I found the parking brake light was off and later learned they had fixed it. It did have something to do with pulling the parking brake too hard. They took apart the center area where the gear shift is located and, in the process, scratched the fake plastic metal looking trim on the gear shift and left scratches along the base. Also, the area at the base of the gear shift wasn't put back in place properly so there was a gap the width of my finger. I ended up having a technician friend repair it for me because I did not want to take the chance of any additional damage being done to my car. I left very disappointed that I was not believed when I said the parking brake light issue was NOT linked to the Advancetrac/ABS light issue. And, even though they finally fixed it, they left cosmetic damages in the process. They messed up the parking brake, try to place blame on me for an unrelated issue with the car and then leave cosmetic damages when they fix their mistake. I do not trust this place and will not return. I let the dealership know, but never heard anything other than "I'll let management know."

Have a problem with what i believe to be the wrong size fuel tank installed on my truck. Ford says its a 34 gallon tank, however when my fuel light comes... on and says I have 40 miles til empty, i can only put 23 gallons in the tank. I know and have confirmed there are a lot of these trucks that were built with the wrong size tank, but FORD claims it was only on the trucks built early in 2017, and not mine that was built in Nov. I am happy with the dealership and their efforts to help with this, however I am NOT HAPPY with Fords response to this problem. I have also had the #8 glow plug go out on this truck twice since it was brand new both at under 8,000 miles. Hopefully that issues has been corrected, time will tell. Doesn't help that i also bought a brand new 2015 F150 FX4 and the first time it rained my truck filled up with water because "the cab was not sealed properly. " That truck also had to have a wiring harness replaced. Always been a Ford guy, but with the issues I have had with the last TWO trucks I have purchased, both being BRAND NEW, I am not sure if my next purchase will be a Ford or not.

I was referred to this dealership by a family friend. This was my first experience buying/leasing a car on my own. Everyone made it a smooth transition... and helped me understand my options of pricing, leasing, benefits to both buying vs. leasing for my age. I contacted 10 different Ford dealerships online on November 9. I told all of them what vehicle I wanted (2019 Ford Fusion SE) so that I could compare... apples to apples. My intention was to purchase by Thanksgiving (within 2 weeks). I asked all of the dealerships to provide me the window sticker and final drive-out price including TTL. I did not want to negotiate back and forth and waste hours of my life to save a few hundred dollars. I wanted to work with the dealership that gave me the best deal from the beginning. Jared with 5-Star Ford in Carrollton was great. He provided me the window sticker and price and went back and forth with me via email a few times to answer a few questions I had. He never pressured me and was very professional throughout the transaction. 5-Star Ford came back with the lowest price and beat the next best price by approximately $1,000. Yesterday, I went to 5-Star Ford and spoke with Jared. I saw my car for the 1st time and within 45 minutes, I was driving home with my NEW Ford Fusion! I could not be happier with this transaction. It was very stress free. Jared provided all the information I needed and did not bombard me with emails or phone calls. I will definitely work with 5-Star Ford (and hopefully Jared) in the future whenever I am looking to purchase a new vehicle.

This would be my second new car purchase through the internet department by Don Wagner. Since I did all my research before arriving the process was very... quick and easy.
