Ford is recalling more than 4.3 million Ford and Lincoln vehicles over an issue with the trailer lighting and brakes.
Ford is extending its Power Promise program, which provides a complimentary home electric vehicle charger and standard installation, through March 31.
Those who purchase a Ford EV from now until Jan. 2, 2025, will get a free charger and installation under a new initiative the company is calling the Ford Power Promise.
The new networks are Red E, whose chargers are concentrated mostly around Michigan; Francis Energy, which operates primarily in Oklahoma; and Blink, a nationwide network.
Ford announced that owners of electrified vehicles like the F-150 Lightning pickup, Mustang Mach-E SUV and E-Transit cargo van will soon be able to access more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers.
Ford is doubling down on efforts to maximize sales by increasing production of the Bronco Sport, F-150, F-150 Lightning, Maverick, Mustang Mach-E, Transit and E-Transit.
