2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L

Stellantis’ latest recall involves an issue with the rear coil springs in more than 328,300 examples of its Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV.

Jeep parent automaker Stellantis is recalling more than 80,600 examples of the brand’s Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L SUVs over an issue with the rear coil springs.

Stellantis is recalling over 330,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees for defective suspension components.

In two separate recalls, 182,000 Compasses are being recalled for an instrument panel cluster lighting issue, while some 162,700 Grand Cherokees, Wagoneers and Grand Wagoneers are being recalled for their backup cameras.

Jeep parent automaker Stellantis is recalling the Grand Cherokee and larger Grand Cherokee L over rear coil springs, which may have been installed incorrectly during production.

Incorrectly assembled steering-column intermediate shafts may disconnect from U-joints, increasing the risk of a crash.

Damaged taillight assemblies have prompted the latest recall from Stellantis of almost 99,200 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L SUVs.

In addition to upgraded technology, the 2022 Grand Cherokee L will offer new exterior appearance packages and, eventually, hands-free lane centering on select trims.
