Toyota is expanding a previous recall from the spring for a fuel pump issue that affects more than 3.3 million vehicles in total.

A fuel pump may stop operating, which may cause warning lights and messages to be displayed on the instrument panel and the engine to run rough.

Approximately 928,000 Toyota, Scion and Lexus vehicles are being recalled as part of the final phase of Takata airbag-related repairs.
