The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and Consumer Reports have released their annual list of recommended vehicles for teens, and the 2024 list offers more safety for less, as used- and new-car prices stabilize.

Approximately 807,000 model-year 2010-14 Toyota Prius hybrids and 
 model-year 2012-14 Prius v hybrids are being recalled.

With sales fizzling, two unpopular hybrids will be unplugged for 2018: the 
 Toyota Prius v hybrid and the Ford C-Max hybrid and plug-in.
