Approximately 679,000 model-year 2011-19 Volkswagen hatchbacks, coupes, convertibles, wagons and sedans are being recalled for a transmission issue.

Approximately 56,100 model-year 2015-19 Volkswagen Golf SportWagens, 
 Jettas, Golfs and Tiguans are being recalled for rear coil springs.

Volkswagen is recalling approximately 33,100 Golf and Golf SportWagen 
 cars because of the potential for the key to remove from the ignition when 
 the vehicle is not parked.

Approximately 250 model-year 2011-16 Volkswagen cars and SUVs are 
 being recalled.

It's no surprise that this month's fastest-selling car is actually a pickup 
 truck. Pickups are perennial best-sellers.
