Love the safety features.
Altho the cloth seats could be more comfortable, love everything else except the car shutting off at stops. I've gotten into the habit of automatically tapping the button to shut off as it only saves about a quarter gallon of gas with every tank. It shortens the life of the battery and probably the starter. Everything else is great. You have the choice to choose which technology you want to use. Safety features are great.

One day loaner car review
I am writing this review based on a one full day loaner car experience, driving on pavement up a mountain road. The car was a Black Onyx XT with StarTex seats. I found the seat material to be very warm to the touch and completely unbreathable. Unless one really expects to spill a lot of liquids on the seats I highly recommend staying away from buying the Outback with StarTex. The turbo engine had an outrageous amount of power making it excellent for passing cars and climbing elevation. Electronics was hit and miss. A constant chime would be heard for no reason. This required turning off safety features in the confusing media screen of touch buttons. I don’t understand why the gear shifter was so tall. It almost got in the way, and required one to lift their arm unusually high to change gears. Cargo room was plentiful yet front passenger room felt a bit snug. Would I recommend buying this model of Outback? No! Instead consider the Limited or Touring in XT.

One Subaru Outback Wasn’t Enough.
My wife was looking to purchase a new car, and we looked at Toyota, Mazda and Subaru. After test driving the vehicles she chose the Subaru. The vehicle was highly rated and is very comfortable, however, beyond comfort, the excellent ‘safety’ rating was impressive to each of us. The vehicle has a history of providing value for the consumer and we are very happy with the purchase. The vehicle looks great on the exterior and the interior design was exceptional, including the large display screen which is extremely easy to use and quite intuitive. We liked this vehicle so much that I’ve made a decision to trade in my 2021 Volvo XC 90 for a Subaru Outback as well. I’m now awaiting delivery of our 2nd Subaru Outback. In closing, the dealership we dealt with, Premier Subaru, was first rate. The salesman, Sales Manager and Finance Manager we’re excellent to work with.

Subaru Outback Wilderness: A good choice
My Subaru Outback Wilderness was a good upgrade from my Outback Premium model. It accelerates better due to the turbo engine and is more comfortable inside. Great styling, safety features and lots of space for transporting gear or shopping items.

Disappointed
I was so excited to purchase my 3rd outback I had a 14, and 17 and loved them both. But to my surprise this 2022 outback truly let me down This seats are as hard and uncomfortable as Toyota. I never thought I would be writing a review this bad for a car and brand that I loved for the past 8 years. I had the car for 2 weeks and I’m already look to cut my losses and trade it in for a sedan, that’s how bad this seats are Sad day for our Family

Recently purchased in April 2022. Drove from Florida to Massachusetts. Car rode well. We git 30 mpg. Comfortable ride. The GPS was very good. I love the lines of sight in Subaru and the elevated view.

Outback for the win!
I've wanted an Outback ever since they first came out and we finally got one. (Had to drive over 900 miles to get it due to the pandemic car shortage currently going on!) But let me tell you it was worth it. This is the nicest riding most comfortable car I have ever owned. And with the XT trim and the turbo 2.4 one of the quickest. We've only had it about a month but we've already put 5k miles on it - the return trip from the dealer and I just did an almost 3k road trip with my daughter covering 7 states and it performed flawlessly. Not one single issue and let me tell you, driving in 90 degree plus heat WITH the A/C on high doing 80 mph I was averaging 28 mpg. No joke this car is the bomb. But not everything is perfect it does have some weird quirks and goofy designs but no car is perfect. With that aside we could not be happier with it!

2022 Subaru Touring - Abyss Blue Pearl
This is my 3rd Subaru Outback. Previously owned a 2010 & 2013 (SAP) Limited. I shopped around and nothing (once again) compared to Subaru. My 2022 Outback Touring with Java Brown Nappa interior is simply the best yet, with Eyesight Technology and all of the safety features, e.g., Lane Keeping, Adaptive Cruise Control & Blind Spot Monitoring etc. Love the 11.6 in touch screen, especially being integrated into the dash instead of looking like an iPad "stuck" on the dash. Best bang for the buck!!

My 22 Outback Touring
Love this car so far, the more I drive it the more I like it. Has a lot of features I didn't think I'd use but for an old man I'm really liking all the features my Touring Model has. I'm an auto mechanic by trade [45+years] and drive all kinds of different brands, in my opinion Subaru is as good as any car in it's class and better than most just drive one in 1\2 foot of snow and find out for yourself.
