Acura is a Honda product all Honda and Acura products are 5 out of 5 I used to have a 1997 Acura RL with 360,000 mi on it

The only problem is\was Is the differential in the rear. I have to change it but it's a good. Strange! All was well except the 'differential'. The car is now being fixed. Is there a recall?

BOUGHT CAR IN 2004 AND JUST SOLD WITH 184,000 RELIABLE MILES FOR A 17 YEAR OLD VEHICLE. GOT A GOOD USED CAR PRICE AND WAS IN GREAT SHAPE EXCEPT FOR SOME SMALL GLITCHES IN NAVIGATION SCREEN. PROBABLY SOME FUSES WOULD HELP THINGS.

I really liked all the room it had for transporting things when the third row was down. Have used it like that numerous times. With the third seat up I was able to take six friends to the baseball game.

I bought this 2004 Acura MDX new and now have 157000 miles on it and it is still excellent. I always take to dealer for routine maintenance And it has paid off. My car drives great, is extremely reliable and I love it. Hope to keep it way past 300000!!!! Recommend it highly.

Bought this SUV used from a private seller, got it for $2,800 Canadian. We flew down to pick it up and drove it 900 Kms back to where we live. My first impression of this 15 year old SUV was it was in pretty great shape. Body looked very good and the interior was beautiful. Only complaint is the Nav screen had a big black circle blob, but I could still read the time and and it didn't block any important information. Driving it back home was such a treat. This SUV has power and then some to pass and go up hills without a hiccup. Gas mileage was awesome for a V6. Filled it full twice for the 900km trip home. Very roomy and comfortable seats. We have owned this for a year now and we have probably replaced almost everything on it. Radiator, brakes, power steering lines, power steering O-ring, as it was whining and that was a cheap fix. Gaskets etc. We live in Northern BC Canada and the winters are long and harsh. So putting this SUV to the ultimate test up here was a experience. The gear shifter would get stiff and had to be lubricated twice so far, I'm sure we will need to replace the cable as lubing it sometimes helps. Minus all the fixing. Motor runs quiet and amazing with having 250 thousand Kms on it driving in winter ice and deep snow was challenging. Got used to how it handles pretty quick. We have dry snow and cold winters not wet and sloppy conditions. And it handled it fairly well. Excellent tires make a huge improvement with how it handles. Put on some Cooper's ATs and it handles great. No hydroplaning, and so far we have hit Nov. And just got some ice on our roads and it doesn't even slide. May still put on some studded winters but so far these Cooper tires are holding up nicely. It came with no block heater so we had to install one of those too. I'd have to say in really taking care of it we have put in close to 2k in parts to help maintain it, as previous owner never really seemed to replace or fix problems. I'd honestly recommend this SUV for new drivers and or people who live in varying conditions or who want a reliable SUV. If maintained properly and regularly. I was a bit caught off guard though with having to fill it with premium gas only!!! But I understand because of the type of motor it has and that too should never ever be compromised, don't fill it with regular gas as it can cause a whole lot of issues.

It was excellent for carrying lots of teenagers and their stuff around town and afar. Very comfortable ride. No issues with this car for the 8 years I owned, just regular maintenance.

For the year it is clocking I under 140k on the dash was a score. J series motor still goes strong. AWD Engaged and locking rear diff worked as it should.

I’ve had this car for over 10 years now and it is amazing and I have had run into some mechanical problems but nothing too severe. I’ve had minimal problems just the regular tune ups, and etc.

The car meet my needs last forever my have 289 k miles still running great. Not major problems, O2 sensor after 250k miles was the major problem other than that runs perfect
