A beautiful vehicle that slacked on durability

It’s Audi worse made SUV. This vehicle has a very comfortable interior and ride however, Interior floor floods during rain fall due to poorly made water drain plugs. Catalytic converters go out between 100k and 120k miles. Parts cost $3000-5000. Engine not durable need spark plugs , wires radiator slow leak timing belt tension screw mysteriously disappeared.

Runs forever.

Owned car for 8 years and 230,000+ miles (and 6-7 sets of tires ...). Still going strong, no issues, just regular maintenance items. Loved this car so much that I upgraded to the New Audi Q7 model (2017).

Gas problem

Other than it leaking gas under my middle bench seat where my fuel filter is it's been a great truck. I had to take it in to the shop 3x because of the recall leak around the gas filter flange thing.

Burns Gas

Burning gas. Smells like gas. The dealer would not do anything about it. I am afraid that it will blow up one day. I would not buy a car from a used dealer again.

Not very Reliable

The car was expensive to service. Hard on gas . Many mechanical problems. Over priced compared to Mercedes ML550 which is a great car compared to the audi. The V6 version of the Q7 is like a hand grenade. There is screw that holds the timing chain tensioner in place that comes loose and blows the whole motor. The V8 4.2 engine is a little more reliable.

Very good SUV that is fun to drive.

This car has been a pleasure to own. I bought it pre-owned and have enjoyed it for 3 years. Driving it has been fun and what you can expect from an Audi. The car offers many luxury features and is a comfortable ride. The suspension provides comfort and the stereo system is by Bose enough said. My Audi has a 3.6 liter V6 engine that is powerful enough to make the truck perform magnificently. The steering is pure Audi performance that makes the SUV handle admirably. There are some negatives and for me they start with a tiny 3rd row seat. I wish it had just a little more leg room. The other would be the fuel economy. Other than those items the Q7 has been a beautiful and fun car to own. I would purchase another one or recommend to my friends or family.

Had to own a European car...

Tried it, loved the vehicle but once the warranty expired it was crazy expensive to repair. Tried it, loved it while under warranty but won?t ever again!

Decent car for the price.

This car was way different than i expected. the style of it may not be the greatest but it met all of my needs. The interior was a bit outdated but drove pretty well. If i had to recommend this car to a friend i would.

Audi did right.

I love the Audi q7 TDI. It has served my family very well. I have owned the q7 for 2 years and had the normal maintenance done. It has the power and torque to do what is needed, and wanted with the flick of an ankle. I am saddened to see that Audi will no longer sell the TDI version.
