BAD CAR! DONT BUY!

I have had this car for a little over a year and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a vehicle! I am not stuck with this car and it is a complete LEMON I cant even get it inspected because it keeps failing!!!!!!!!!!

Great car for midwest winters

This is the first AWD vehicle we have owned, and are extremely satisfied with it. We love the exterior styling of the vehicle, and its versatility. The seats are not as comfortable as they could be, but overall the vehicle exceeded our expectations. We love being able to have both the AWD option and the six passenger capability. The main drawback for us is the gas mileage. We only average around 17 mpg with a combination of city and hwy driving.

95,000 mile update

This is an update of my 2008 review. Car is great! No problems. Just maintainance costs. This car needs to be compared to luxury SUVs such as Audi and Volvo. For the price ($30,000 new) this is the best buy I have ever made. Car still looks new inside and out. Oil changed every 5000 miles.

05 Pacifica Base

I purchased Pacifica from an out of state dealer. I live in NY close to the 5 buroughs so finding a good clean car with a clean car report ( yea good luck get it checked out plenty of messed up cars have clean reports out there )is not easy in NY or NJ metro area. Ok now the review don't believe the car reviews you do not need the 3.5L engine the 3.8L has plenty of power & the 3.8L needs far less maintance. Engine is quiet, tranny shifts very smooth in this car , suspension is very quiet , interior is very comfortable. I would recommend *****.!!!!!!!!

This is a great car.

This is a great car. I love the one we have. We have had it 3 years. My wife drives the car and I feel good about her and the kids taking long trips in the car.

Worst Car I Have Ever Purchased

We bought this car last year, used, only 30k miles on it. Within 2 months, the door locks needed to be replaced $350, as the handle broke somehow. Then the wheel bearings need to be replaced, another $300 out the door. And now, the cooling system went on the fritz! First the hose collapsed, $180 to fix. Now the car overheats, but only when in a standing position. UGH! Never had this many problems with a newer car, it is only 3-4 years old and low mileage. Would not recommend to anyone!

Great Car

After taking this vehicle cross country I have to say it was great. The only complaint is that we didn't buy the larger engine for better performance. We opted for better milage. Also, there is a bit of overstear that takes a little to get used to. To date the car has held up requiriing only normal maintenance. Very comfortable and quiet. A great touring vehicle.

Luxurious ride

I bought my Pacifica new and it has been a joy to own. It is like riding in a high-end luxury vehicle - the leather, the seat warmers, the details that make it a pleasure to drive. It is a great car.

56,000 Mile Update

This is an update of my review of July 28, 2006. This continues to be the best car I have owned. Still no problems!. Just replaced tires ($1,000) and flushed and filled trans, cooling system and power steering - $180 non dealer. Will buy an '08 in the fall since this is the last year for production.
