Wow! What A Car

We bought this car after renting one for a week in New England last month. The comfort features and the performance. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a crossover or Van.

my baby

I love this car, lots of room, dvd, stow and go seats, navigation, power doors, and seats, lumbar leather heated seats, hd radio, keyless enty, remote start, open doors even when locked by grabbing the handle as long as the keyphob is near.

Happy with my purchase

We purchased a Chrysler Pacifica for our growing family. We are happy with it. It drives more like a car than a heavy minivan. It fits our family well

The good, the bad, and the ugly

I have owned a 2018 Touring L for about 4 months now, transitioning from summer heat to late fall winter weather. I owned 2 Toyota Highlanders for 18 years, so this review is in comparison to my Highlanders, a very high standard to meet. I love the look of this van, to me it's the best looking van on the market. I purchased it because of taking long trips, and needing more space than the Highlander provides. I love the feature that the seats fold down into the floor, turning it into a cargo van. However, my van currently has 22,000 miles on it, and almost daily something on the touch screen malfunctions. One day my cruise control, which I use daily, would not work. Just plain would not work. The next day it worked (as well as it does). Talking about cruise, my Highlanders did a perfect job of maintaining my speed with the cruise set, even here in the VA mountains. The Pacifica's cruise is very disappointing. It revs up going up hill and does not cut the gas at the top so as you go down you can get from 65 mph to 80 (yes, 80), if you aren't paying close attention and fiddling with it constantly. Very unsatisfactory and no excuse; my caravans had better cruise back in the 90's. Yesterday when I turned the van off and exited, the radio stayed on. I tried everything including reading the manual to get it to turn off but it would not, and after 30 minutes it was still on. I could turn the screen off but it was still glowing in the dark. My next option was to disconnect the battery, ridiculous in a 2018 model with only 22,000 miles. I finally got in and drove it around the block and then it turned off fine. It was not, by the way, set to accessory. One day when it was 90 outside, the A/C would not work. I had to turn the car off, park, wait a bit and restart the vehicle, and then it worked. I am now having this same issue with the heat. I am a 61 year old grandma who in the past owned 3 Caravans, a Honda van, and then my Highlanders. This is by far the least reliable new vehicle I have ever had. My other main complaint other than the touch screen malfunctions is the glare of the windshield. I am only 5 foot 1, so whether it is my height or the angle of the windshield or the stark black color of the dashboard, I dont' know, but I have never owned a car that was so hard to see clearly out of if the sun is shining, there is a horrible reflecting glare. My advice is save the grief. I love the space and comfort and heated seats, and I love that I don't have to put the roof carrier on and attach the tray to the back of my car to take a trip, but the fear of being on a trip alone and stranded by this cars unreliability does not make it a safe buy.

Just the car that I needed

This car met all of my needs. It is roomy in the front and back. The 2nd and 3rd row seats fold down to give more carrying space.

Mini van features with more luxury and comfot

The Pacifica does everything we liked with our Town and Country vans but with an upgraded comfort, performance, and styling. They must have listened to their customers to determine what drivers and passengers are looking for. This vehicle does not ride like a van. It rode quieter and smoother but will still do all the hauling. The techno features are incredible! Bravo, Chrysler on a great first impression. I hope it lives up to this praise down the road.

Pleasantly Surprised by this Van!

Third kid is on the way and this van is comfortable, spacious, and meets all our needs. Nice bluetooth features and gas mileage for a vehicle of it's size.

Disappointed

Very rough ride, can feel every little bump, road noise, no CD player unless you buy the 2000 DVD package. The second row seats no longer adjust fore and aft.
