Much better than one may think
This is a great deal for the money. A neighbor of mine has a 2008 Honda Fit (which costs a little more) and I honestly like the way mine looks a lot better, mine has almost 160 horsepower while theres is a little above 100, and mine looks like a substantial, mid-size & solid vehicle. I am sure that the Honda is extremely reliable and does get a little better gas mileage, but for around the same money, I have a "real" car, while the Fit looks like a toy

Great Litle Car with Lots of Room
I have had this car for over a year. It mainly drive it back and forth to work. I get close to 30 mpg. One of the best things is the cargo capacity. I have loaded a 35" tv, dishwasher and 8' lumber.

Very Nice Car
Purchased a 2007 R/T with CVT, Sunroof, Leather. So far have about 3k miles on it and its been very good little car. There is a bit of engine noise when you rev it and the CVT takes some getting used too but overall its a very good value for the money. If they put a bit more effort into the quality of the interior materials it would be a perfect car.

Nice little wagon
I just got an '07 SXT with the 2.0 engine and CVT. The car handles exceptionally well, and feels like it has amazing grip on the road. Big tires help- it has 17" rims. The car feels heavy- not in a bad way, just very solid for such a small vehicle. The CVT is a bit odd feeling, but not unpleasant. Acceleration is adequate- not like a sports car, but it is by no means slow, like I read elsewhere. There is just less sensation of acceleration that what the speedometer is showing. There is some engine noise when it is pushed hard, but not anything unpleasant. The cabin is roomy, and the driver's seat is height-adjustable. I am 6"1" and fat, and I find it very comfortable. In fact, this is the first car I've owned where I don't have to push the front seat all the way back. Rear seat is adequate for normal-sized adults, but those seats are a little on the firm side. Cargo room is exceptional, with lots of seat-adjustment options. I have read that the interior trim is "cheap and plasticy", but it looks fine to me. The factory stereo is nice, and has an AUX jack for an MP3 player. The car also has a standard "household" electrical receptacle. There are plenty of storage spaces for CDs, cell phones, and even a drink chiller in the glove box, run off the A/C. Placement of gauges and knobs is good. Visibility is slightly limited due to the thick B and C pillars. I gave the car an "average" for reliability because I have not had it long, but the factory warranty seems more than adequate. This is the first Chrysler/Dodge I've owned. I test drove a PT Cruiser before this, and the Caliber beats it hands down in acceleration, room, and handling (and it looks better!) I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a small wagon or hatchback.

Very Roomy , Love this car
I have had my caliber for 45 days, and I have found it handles wonderfully, I really enjoy this car and I wasn't sure I would. I've driven pickups for the past 14 years but needed something with better mileage. I don't feel like I'm sitting in a car, it has a high seat feeling. I don't feel like I'm sitting down into a car. I love the styling. and thre color( Sunburst Orange Pearl). LOVE THIS VEHICLE. Its better than a car. Lots of head & body room, does not feel closed in.

good snow commuter
I commute in Alaska The Caliber has predictable accelleration, braking and turning performance on ice, no slipping at all. Lot's of passing power when floored, good economy on cruise. I'm getting 27.4 mpg @65mph. Arm rests are hard, road noise could be less, plastic interior could be better, cup holders need work. Tinted windows would be a nice option, like it's sister the Jeep Compass. Heater / AC good, tire pressure monitor, thermometer, mpg on dash is handy. Fun to drive. Comforting to have AWD, anti lock brakes, stability control, front, side, and knee bags.

Comfortable car.
Very comfortable ride and loaded with features. I've had this Caliber for five weeks. Cool looking little car. I'm waiting to break it in to check the gas mileage. This is a second car for me. I got this car to pick up items for my office and to get good gas mileage in the city.
