WHAT A DEAL! I have 2 kids and we were looking for the perfect car.We wanted to let our kids enjoiy their time in our new car so electronics also came with it.we found our perfect car so here we are!

I decided to downsize my vehicle from a Grand Caravan upon realizing that our family just didn't need the extra room. After looking at a list of makes and models, and taking many for test drives, I chose the Caliber because it had the versatility of an SUV but was still considered a car. The family has been on one long trip with it so far, and it was comfortable, and very affordable. I highly recommend this car to anyone that is looking for the convenience of an SUV, but the comforts of a car! And one last thing, to those of you that might scoff at the idea of an in-dash cooler- it comes handy more times than not!

We moved from Florida to Cincinnati and made the drive in one day. I honestly have no complaints with the cars performance or gas mileage. I was backing up and hit one of those yellow concrete poles. I was pleasantly surprised that I only scratched the bumper plastic. I was sure I cracked or broke a hunk off. My only negative comment is that the Caliper has a couple of bad blind spots where the door and the windshield meet. I was also worried about how this car would handle in the snow coming from Florida, again to my surprise my little Caliper was up for the challenge.

I've had my Cali for two weeks and there is absolutely nothing negative that I can say. The style pulled me in and the experience has kept me itching to drive her every day. As a former big SUV driver I swore that I'd never drive another car again. I dreaded that low-to-the-ground feeling that most cars gave me. Sitting several inches higher in the Caliber, I don't get that feeling at all. She's a fun drive, a comfortable ride, and I find myself taking frequent breaks at work just to go outside and take another peek.

Horrible gas milleage 24mpg on highway!! Vents have a ticking nose. Door was misalligned. The advertisement for gas milleage is incorrect. If I had to do it all again I would have never gone with this car.

I've had mine for only a few weeks. Some weird quirks about driving: 1. if you take your foot off the gas, the car slows down right away, it does not "coast" like most cars. 2. when you are braking, just at the point where you almost come to a stop, the car "breaking" described above in 1. "lets go" and you do begin to coast. Those are the only two weird things about this car that if Chrysler could fix for me with a software update TSB, I would be 100% satisfied with this car. I have the AWD R/T. Its fun to drive, I get decent mileage (22 MPG City). It looks great. MusicGate system is good for an OEM radio. I could do better building my own sound system, but I really can't be bothered by that kind of stuff anymore. This stereo sounds good.

I own two R/T AWD Calibers. I love them very much so. My first one I got in August 2006 and I have almost 17,000 miles on it but now I am having my hazards light issue. They go on and off whenever they want. I am currently working my dealership to get this fixed. I may just have a Lemon Car (Lemon Law). My other Caliber I got in the end of December and so far that car is great. My boyfriend and I do a paper route at night and it handles great in the snow. My boyfriend can't stop driving and all our friends love the cars. The only problem we are having is the hazard issue.

I have just crossed 8,000 miles. I love my caliber. It is an SXT with the 1.7 l engine and is getting about 28 miles per gallon. I looked at Scion, Honda and Mazda before buying and could not justify the extra $3,000 to $5,000. I get comments just about everyday about the style of the exterior. The ride is smooth and I regret not getting a moonroof. The interior is a little difficult to keep clean and there is a little too much plastic.

I just purchased the 2007 Dodge Caliber RT AWD. I love the way it handles. I don't find the engine sluggish in the least. I got 29 MPG on the first tank and that was part highway and part city. I did weeks of research online, looking at various vehicles, and kept coming back to this one. The best value for the dollar and sassy too! I bought it sight unseen and had never even taken it for a test drive. I have owned a Nissan 200 SX and Mitsubishi Galant. I drove both vehicles over 12 years each. I wanted to give the Dodge a try and could not be happier!!
