Almost most reliable car

love everything except vibration when idle. Can't tell if it will die in the road or make it through an intersection...scary. If this can be fixed I'd recommend this vehicle. A pleasure to drive other than the vibration.

I love Ford products! The Edge is the perfect size

Exactly what I needed! The Edge checks all the boxes. Performance, comfort, reliability, bells & whistles and more. Roomy in the back seats even when the front seats are all the way back!

Great size. Lots of storage. Easy to get in and out of. Lots of great electronics. Plus a CD player, because we still have lots of CD's.

Nothing but problems

We have several 2017 Edges in our fleet, all with the 2.0 Ecoboost. I cannot even tell you how many have had engine replacements. Ford has done little to comp us for excessive out of pocket expenses for these vehicles. I have two in the shop right now, out of the 11 under my management, both getting engines. Across the country, I believe we have replaced somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-24 engines the last 18 months. Some have been under warranty, many have not. In this day and age, this is unacceptable performance from a vehicle. And we won't get into the flexplate and torque converter issues that have also plagued several of them. Be aware of a check engine light, with a cold misfire that goes away after the vehicle warms up. More than likely it will be a cylinder misfire code due to coolant weeping into the cylinder(s), and the fix is either a long block or short block replacement. I can't wait until these go away.

The days of Japanese car superiority are over!

We bought a V6 2017 Edge used and I am so impressed with this car. I admit I was diehard anti- American car guy but the last few years I have had to rethink things. My recent car purchases have disappointing to say the least. Bought new , 2007 Honda Odyssey, junk after 90k miles, 2017 Nissan Rogue, meah, chincy feel, paper thin metal, had to sell it. My son has a 2007 Subaru Forester, Constantly in the shop. Junk.

3rd Ford Edge I’ve owned

My first Edge took me 205k miles throughout college and the beginning of my career. My 2nd Edge took me 92k miles before Mother Nature destroyed her with alien-sized hail. Just bought my 3rd and am still just as happy as the first day I stumbled upon this amazing suv. The performance, drive train, style, and overall capabilities make this car worth every penny-which is a great price too!

My First SUV

I have been wanting an SUV for a long time and I have looked at numerous vehicles. I am so happy I chose the Ford Edge. It is exactly what I was looking for. Not too big, not too small, and has so many nice features. I plan on having this car for a long time.
