2017 Ford Edge consumer reviews

I purchased this car used in 2019 with 45k miles on it. It has been a great car until the engine needed to be replaced at 61k miles. Thank goodness I had an extended warranty to cover the $6,500 repair. My confidence in the reliability with Fords is not very high. It will most likely be the last Ford I buy.

I love the look and comfort of the Ford Edge, unfortunately the transmission is shot after just 62,000 miles. I have maintained this car meticulously and there should be no reason for a bad trans.

Great styling - sharp looking body style with a rich wine colored burgundy paint color. Comfortable leather interior with Ford synch capability and a fuel stingy Ecoboost engine. Keyless ignition means no more key chain hitting my accelerator and braking leg. Love it!

The car is extremely comfortable. Very roomy interior. Has plenty of get up and go. Lots of options. The heated seats and stearing wheel are amazing.

My husband is 6'6" and this SUV fits him perfectly, along with the rest of his tall family in the back seats, too. Great for small families.

I bought my Edge SEL AWD in November, 2017. I love everything about it. Last January, the dreaded happened - I was rear-ended by a small semi-truck while sitting at a red light, the truck was going about 45 MPH. I was amazed at how well the car held up - the rear was all scrunched in, but the rear window didn't even crack! I walked away with whip-lash, a concussion and a little bit of a hurt back, but in a different vehicle, I know it would have been much, much worse, and if I had been driving a small car it could have been fatal. It took 6 weeks to fix, but is as good as new and I'm very thankful it wasn't a total loss. Well built!

Decent vehicle. The wind noise is loud and horrific on the passenger side. The transmission seems to lurch at low speeds. The wind noise is ridiculous for a vehicle with 25K miles

This is my 2nd Edge, the first I kept for 11 years and only purchased this one to help out a family member who needed a vehicle. It has all the bells and whistles and I'm looking forward to driving this one another 11 years

The Edge is so comfortable and has everything a driver could ask for in order to enjoy any drive for shirt trips to very long trips. Love my Edge.
