Good siv
Great SUV. Good on the snow.Good kids Third row. Still starting every time Fantastic doors. Good exhaust. Great heat. The back windows are tinted from the factory. Which is great during the day. At night you have to use the door mirrors to reverse.

Such a great deal
This vehicle is so good in the snow, never been stuck. I love the height, it makes it easy to get in and out and it has great visibility. It has the power to tow boats and trailers. The Grandkids will miss riding in the third seat (Party room).

This car met all of my needs. It has plenty of legroom in the front and back. It’s also has plenty of cargo space. I have owned the car thirteen years and it has been a joy and comfort to ride this reliable car.

Most reliable car I’ve ever owned.
This car is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. I love explorers. Hope to get another one. Turns on a dime. There’s not a tight parking space it can’t get into.

Owned from 2016-18
Bought at an auction, took care of it and did all necessary check ups. The transmission seems to be the issue with most explorer downfalls.

Most reliable car I've owned
I love this suv. This is my 2nd Explorer which I've owned since purchased new in 2002. It has never broken down or needed any major repairs and going on 179,000 miles now. Only issue terrible gas mileage around town. I tested out the "tune up not needed until 100,000 miles" and my mechanic told me my spark plugs still looked fine! Yes it is an older vehicle but a dependable, comfortable solid ride with loads of leg and head room for even backseat riders and with enough room to sleep in if you need to and it's paid for! I am a female driver and being safe on the road is important. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking to buy one.

Best for overall needs
Reasonably reliable, very durable long lasting with maintenance. 240,000 miles and doesn't use any oil. Runs very smooth. Rebuilt limited slip differential, replaced wheel bearings, window motors, struts, radiator and water pump. Most of work at high mileage which is normal. Handles the real needs of an SUV in regards to off road and on road balance. Great in the snow and off road while comfortable on the highway. Very easy to park and drive in town with great visibility. Comfortable for passengers and driver. Paint and interior materials hold up better very well over 16 years now. Bad city gas mileage.

2002 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer
ive owned 2 explorers so far, my old one had over 268xxx miles. The motor had a rattle(third timing chain),the transmission slipped, and the rear end was going out.the body was still really nice I have had some problems with the sunroof leaking, door ajar problem, alarm randomly going off, the cracked trim piece on the rear hatch. The one I currently have is the same exact thing it has 130xxx miles.every thing is perfect on it mechanically.the body has some rust under neath nothing on the frame only on under body. I've had it for a year and I haven't had to do anything to it other than some breaks In my opinion the way you take car of a car will determine how long it will last. I believe my first Explorer would have lasted a lot longer, the previous owners never did any maintenance.my current one I know has been taken very well care of I got it from a close friend who bought it new and always had it dealer serviced.

One of the best vehicle's I owned
Excellent acceleration, Excellent handling, reliable all I had to do was to put brakes on the vehicle after having driving it for about 20,000. These vehicles Are know to give you an issue with the transmission around 120,000. I had one prior to this one. I would suggest having the transmission inspected before you buy it. It was reliable to me but be safe rather than sorry. I used to own it was unfortunately totaled.

FORD EXPLORE
I couldnt jave asked for a better car. I was 21yrs old when purchased it & It was totaled in September 2017 head on. I had drove it 12 half years & was rough on it(3000 over oil, hit few things, let friends drive it etc.) but never once had a issue out it . It proved to be built ford tough and great in SAFETY. The car had everything i could ask for. I still have it sitting in my back yard.
