Retired Grandmother

This 2013 Explorer truck has always supported my family member to many special events. Rather than taking multi cars. We have lots of room, always on time, and laughter all the way.

The best of both worlds

I love this vehicle. I can seat up to 7 people, room for pets, climate control for the back passengers, great safety all around and very comfortable for long family trips.

Nice all around vehicle for the price

At first I didn't like the seats as they are not as large or comfortable As My dodge but they are very adjustable and you get used to them Power is ok for the size and the fact that it is AWD. I get around 20 mpg which isn't terrible. I

The Biggest SUV & The Smallest Truck

The car is really great for families and for traveling. I went from San Francisco to Los Angeles, and I really didn't feel that I spent about 6 hrs on the road! It's so smooth, and so comfortable! I would 5 stars to safety, 5 stars convenience. The adaptive cruse control is amazing while traveling, you don't have to do anything the car controls everything! The only thing I wish that dealers do a better job in the affordability of the maintenance! overall, I'm very happy with my Ford Explorer!

excellent car

Good, safety, comfortable and smooth to drive. Very strong vehicle. Look of this Explorer has won the minds of public. I have driven already 100K kms plus but the performance is the same as new car.

Why isn't Ford recalling?

I've owned a 13 Limited for 2 years and there are some issues I don't understand why Ford doesn't have a recall on. When the vehicle is in park, the 'Shift to Park' sensor goes off and doesn't recognize the vehicle is actually in park. It's obnoxious and of course the dealer will fix (for $600.00). If it's a known issue, why doesn't Ford do something about it?! I'd say overall it's a rough ride and not thrilled with the shock system. Gas mileage is ok, nothing spectacular. The other thing I find odd is you don't know what the tire pressure is, like in most newer vehicles. There's a low tire pressure indicator, but nothing showing what the exact tire pressure is, for each tire. Not impressed and will be trading in.

Very Reliable Vehicle

I have never had any issues with the vehicle. Runs great, and held up under all driving conditions. I would buy an explorer again if I needed that much room!
