Well it all started on the parking lot of this dealer meet with the most down to earth man .The most warm full greeting .His name is Tim he welcomed me and my family he was very professional when he spoke to us he gave me and my wife a great price for the vehicle . Not knowing that he gave me the price that probably no other dealer could not match (Tim) . Hendricks Honda is a very fortunate company to have him in his team . Was going to buy the car but was welcomed by a woman not going to mention the name but she knows who she is . Was just throwing very high Apr numbers out of her head . Never showed us what bank they accepted us she was just not clear well did not feel like she was being honest . I did not want certain items on my package buy she refused to remove them saying that they can not sell me a vehicle with no warranty . But I did not want to pay that extra 1100.00 dollars .supervisor came and tried to help but I did not felt like I was getting the best interest rate . I wish them luck ...

Best used 2013 Explorer for sale today

This Explorer is an upgraded XLT with dual moon roof which is incredible at night, has navigation so you always know where you're at and has the optional 20 inch tires for better gas mileage than the smaller tire XLT's, and is loaded with everything you could want. I took great pride in caring for my Explorer and it is in exceptional condition. Was always maintained at the Ford dealership and primarily used to commute to work. You won't find another XLT like this one at this price.

Great car.

Upside: The Explorer was great for us, good size for family, very comfortable, very reliable. Downside: 7 seats are great, but you have to be pretty small to use the third row. It's not a minivan. And the mileage is just OK, we avg. 18 mpg combined. But that was all expected, we did not want the size of a min van or a Suburban.

Not the best

Not a reliable car, lots goes wrong with it. Had to fix breaks and transmission and tires all within 6 months of owning. Very slow and sluggish like speed. Wouldn't recommend.

It's okay but I'm not impressed

Very very disappointed the fan cut off which sends a signal to the air conditioner condenser which causes it to seize up and burnout it's to my understanding that Ford know that it is a problem take a search you online and see how many 2013 Ford Explorers has the same problem right now I have no air condition in my vehicle because of this very disappointing

Great drive for an SUV

Purchased a used '13 Sport model with 22k. Drove like a new vehicle and we quickly put 8K on it, completely trouble free. I insisted on the 3.5L ecoboost with 365HP and I love driving it. Effortless cruising on Hwy, even when I lock it in 6th gear for best mileage. We owned an '06 Eddie Bauer V8 Explorer previous, but this car is 10X better. A few minor "complaints" largest being the smallish gas tank. I'd prefer better mileage on the Hwy as well, but I did insist on the larger engine. FWIW, I drove it back to back with an Audi Q7 (also used) and drove the Explorer Sport home, smiling all the way.

Need to recall door ajar switch

Nice vehicle other than the door ajar light comes on about the same time the warranty goes out due to a faulty door switch. Sounds like it's a ford issue with explorers, edges, etc.
