Worst, unreliable car

This car has had so many recalls. I've dumped so much money into gas just for the release of the vapors to waste it. I have had my car in 3 x for transmission, my engine just went on it and my hood sensors keep tell me hood is open, and not to mention my trunk opens few times in each commute, I've had to pull over on expressways to shut it. Water was leaking on drivers side , looks like it's coming from the fuse box. I bought 2 of these cars at the same time, with same issues on both aside from the blown engine.

Excellent Maintenance and Reliable

Car has been very dependable. The oil was changed at the required intervals, tires were replaced Dec 2018, battery replaced summer 2019. Any repairs needed were always done at the time of maintenance check. Comfortable and hatchback makes it convenient to transport those oversized things that do not fit in an ordinary trunk

I loved it until..

I bought this car last year with only 70,000 miles on it. It worked great until now. It not has 85,000 miles on it and the transmission has broken completely. As well the dealership won’t fix it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying this year of the car. I loved the Ford Focus but not the older version.

It is great on gas gets up to 43 mpg on highway

I would give it a 4 star other than the power steering failure and ford refusing to recall it.I just had mine fixed the light came on and off at 60000 miles and failed at 88000I just put $2300 into it to fix it !IWe have always owned Fords but the last few Vehicles had electronic issue .Diesel Turbo Issues and poor customer service at 2 dealerships

Focus Titanium Runs Excellent 123K mi. No Problems

My 2012 Ford Focus Titanium doesn't has one problem. Loaded with every option! It has parking assistance which parks the car in the nearest parking spot by it self. Has the SONY surround sound entertainment system with My Ford Sync, internet browser and wi-fi, Bluetooth and hot spot capability. 8" screen visibility for just about anybody that wears glasses. It also has advance traction control, that's great in the winter months. The real reason why I can't part with it is because of the gas mileage. I'm 6'3" and I fit fantastic in the front seat, with plenty of room in the rear. My 2012 Focus Titanium gets 40 miles to the gallon. It's has a 2.0 liter PZEV Duratec Motor. It's really a Great car and Fun to Drive!! Real Sporty!!

shame on you Ford

This has been the worst car i have ever owned. I had to replace power stearing 100 miles after my warranty ran out. Ford did nothing for me at all. Now my transmission has gone out however it is a little over 100,000 miles and ford said they use to warranty this but not anymore. They know these trans mission are nothing but a problem and Ford again will do nothing for me. I have done nothing but fix this car. FORD SHAME ON YOU. I tell everyone not to buy a ford they are terriable standing by for their customers.

2012 FORD FOCUS ALMOST GOT MY FAMILY KILLED

I purchased the car with 30k miles on it. My wife needed something good on gas and reliable to get her and our two year old granddaughter around town. One day the car all the sudden stalled out and would not go forward. We were turning in a intersection and almost got T Boned. Luckily no one was hurt. We took it to the Ford dealership and they told us that the TCM had failed. To my surprise Ford would take care of it for no charge. The car has 105k on it. Before we got home we got a call from the dealership. The TCM failing caused other damage to the transmission. To the tune of $1959.00!!!!!!! This got my attention. After scouring the web I was sickened to find I not only was not alone but ford knew and didnt warn the public that there transmission was crap. My wife is afraid to drive the car now. Thank you Ford for screwing the people that have supported you there whole adult lives .!!!! I reached out to Ford and there response was join one of the class action law suits that are out there. WOW!!!! I will spend all the free time I have to make sure the world knows that FORD Is xxxx!!!!!!
