Worst car ever. Brought a used 2017 focus. Didn't make home before warning that transmission was over heating and slipping gears . Called dealership who sold it to me wont first it. Took it to ford told clutches junk . Cost 3000. Now I remember why I don't buy American made cars. I'm on disability. I should need to have to pay for a transmission already on day 1. Ty u ford for yard ornament. A.dollar

  • Really good car still, 2017 ford focus SE

I am the second owner of this car since 2019. It has been excellent, never has had a problem. Super dependable easy to drive in town or highway. Have taken two 2,000 mile trips. Great and good mileage.

  • DO NOT BUY

PIECE OF JUNK! this car breaks on a monthly basis, at least! would never buy one again, as i'm writing this review its been in the shop for 3 weeks now, clutch pack replacement, again after it was replaced not even 15k miles ago. check engine light is a common sight too. other than its reliability it isn't a bad car, drives decent when working correctly(rarely), and gets great fuel economy.

  • Fix or repair daily

Never buy a Ford again! Always a recall and No help or progress. Had to purchase a 2nd vehicle because Ford Motor company would not help fix major issues

  • Proceed With CAUTION! DPS6 Transmission is TRASH!

As far as drivability goes, I’d give the Focus a 5 out of 5! Unfortunately, there’s been major transmission issues with the later Focus models, 2015-forward. The DPS6 Automatic trans w/ manual clutch has a faulty TCM, which causes the transmission to shutter/skip from 1st-2nd gear. Other times, an engine light will appear making the car undrivable! Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION, when purchasing this vehicle.

  • 2017 Ford Focus Titanium model failures

My 2017 ford focus continues to just die over night after I shut it off. When I go into the vehicle to restart the next day it’s dead. I have to call road side service for a jump to start the car. This is ridiculous. I’m 73 years old with major health issues, and I need a reliable car. I’m so upset that the dealership can’t fix this repeat problem. This is not a reliable car, company, nor responsive to a customers car issues. Ford motors does not stand by their products at all.

  • Newest Car i've ever owned

This car is exactly what i needed when i limped my old ponitac into the dealer. Unlike my previous car this one is great on gas. It handles smoothly in my opinion. THe only downside i can think of is the trunk is small. even with the seats down in the sedan like i got.
