Girl power update
Don’t buy into 2020 pilot NIGHTMARE. Gave up on my dream car and it’s now in the hands of Lemon Law Lawyers. After 7 returns for loud crackle noise and loss of info screen when this happens, I’ve sadly given up. And I thought maybe I had a lemon in the basket but looking at reviews since then looks like most of 2020’s and a few earlier years same issue and still no fix. I think may have to do with bad wire harness or grounding but Honda has not figured out how to fix. Until they do. Stay away. I’m hoping they make good and return my $50k. Stay tuned.

This car is perfect for us now. We downsized from a Suburban and we really like the Honda Pilot Elite. I will definitely tell others about the great experience we had and how we like the car

Honda quality disappointing
Our 9th Honda in 12 years. Within 3 days the media screen started to refresh during drive. Within 2 weeks it became more consistent and after 40 days it became permanent. Apperantly there is a software issue that will take 3-4 months to repair. Honda doesnt care. It told us to keep driving like this until it will have update. I have never believed Honda will go this low in term of service to its loyal customers. I am hearing that more Pilots has this issue and Honda and dealers are aware of it but don't reveal to customers. **buyers be aware** Honda will ignore your complaints completely and will not help you with loan car while your precious new purchase sitting idle at dealer lot waiting for update. This shock me to the core to learn that Honda provide such bad service when its customers need it

Most reliable car I've owned period.
If you are in the market for a new SUV , i recommend the Pilot . It is very competitive in every aspect but most of all is cheaper then competition.

Electrical nightmare
I have owned this car for 20 days. The car has less than 1000 miles on it. I absolutely loved it for the first few days and then the problems started. The speakers started making crackling sounds, then the radio would cut out, then the system would completely reboot it self leaving me unable to use any features or even see the speed I was traveling. Honda is aware there is a malfunction in these vehicles but is selling them anyway. They basically guess which electrical harness to fix, replace it, hope it works and if not they try another one. I was told the dealer has to follow a precise protocol from Honda and they can’t just replace them all so this can be a very long process. Had I known this was an issue among pilots I would have never ever bought this car. I will make my first payment on this car and most likely it will still be at the dealership for repairs. I’m just completely disgusted by this entire thing. if I could return it I would in a heart beat. I feel absolutely taken advantage of and regret not purchasing the Toyota Highlander.

2nd Pilot I’ve owned
Great car! Internal and external features are fantastic. I bought a new Pilot in ‘08 and hated to let it go but the advanced technology and comfort of the new Pilot made it much easier for me to say goodbye to the ‘08.

Crackling sound from dash when cold
Will be a nice car if I can get the dash noise fixed. Elite Model has a lot of bells and whistles, Auto Dimming inside and outside mirrors, Good gas mpg on highway, android auto is great, rain sensing wipers, radar cruise control. lane keeping assist and road departure assist.
