  • Great Car. Good acceleration, I love it.

Bought it used. Great car, reliable. Really fuel efficient and has good traction. I wish it had an additional 6inches of ground clearance and a 2.2liter engine.

  • would buy it again

Bought my 2011 Touring with 7,000 miles on it in 2011 as I needed a versatile economical vehicle for mostly around town driving and hauling my canoe and gear. The first thing I noticed was it was not good in snow but took the 17" rims off and replaced them with 15" rims and snow tires and it became a beast in the snow and would put most suv's to shame. The addition of Nokia z lines for summer greatly improved the ride quality with the low profile 17 " alloys. Reliability has been very good with the exception of the transmission which failed around 20k miles and was quickly taken care of by Hyundai at no charge. Since then it has just been routine oil changes and brakes as well as changing the timing belt at the recommended service. Having driven it now for 11 years and an additional 60k miles, I still enjoy the car and see no need to replace it any time soon.

  • Roomier than many SUVs

Bought this car new in 2011. 10 years later we still own it. It still looks and runs like new with 130K miles. The original transmission started having issues at 35k but it was replaced under warranty and no problems since. Very roomy and way more cargo space than you would expect. It has a sporty feel to the suspension and steering so it’s fun to drive. Love this car but it’s not suited for shorter drivers. I wish the driver seat could raise.

  • Its always something with this car. Not good.

I think it has a good engine but the transmission i replaced 2x after I got it. The 2nd time it took 2 weeks to replace it. The suspension is horrible. I had to replace the front shocks, struts and control arm rod and bushings. The electric window switches keep failing. Today I'm going to replace the master switch. I go through tires fast and just replaced those and the brakes and rotors. I want to get rid of this but I paid 15k woth 70k miles on it t and now it's worth 4k with 109k miles on it. I just wish Hyundai would take it in and fix it for me at no charge since they build a defective car. Oh yes its sways on the freeway and it gets scary. People must think im drunk. Going to get that looked at "again" today. Last time the said they can't find anything. I looked and my control arm rod bushing were shot and it wasn't connected.

  • Very useful transport.

Very under rated. Super ride and lots of carrying space. Had mine for 5 years now and won't change because I like it so much and you can't buy a new one. The replacements just ain't as good.

  • Quite reliable

Good car, very reliable. Service is not good for customer service. Good thing is that I had very low mileage. Like that guy, but rest staff was trying to over sell me stuff.

  • The Koreans understand large Americans

I had been driving 2 different '04 Elantra GTs since 2007. I loved the hatchback for storage and they were surprisingly roomy for 6'4" 280 lb driver. It was time to replace the second one - thought about going for another hatchback, but couldn't find a decent one - looked hard at Potiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix. Then found this - more room than the Elantra GT, but similar gas mileage. It's an SE - love the standard heated seats. The car came with brand new tires - when these wear out I'm replacing the silly 17" rims with 16" or 15" rims. Not enough rubber, so I'll lose some handling and gain a smoother ride. Other than that-it's a great time to purchase one because Hyundai is closing out all the accessories - was able to buy the sun roof wind deflector, cross bars for the factory rails, the cargo net, the rubber cargo tray, and a bumper protector for about $40.00! Needed space for camping gear and musical equipment, and a lower roof for putting kayaks on.

  • Great, reliable car

It's a small wagon with plenty of cargo room. It's a great car, even on long trips. There's plenty of room for the kids and the dog. It's also a great car for the grocery store and has even handled carrying a 7.5-foot Christmas tree home from the tree farm.

  • This is a 2017 and is absolutly the finest vehicle

Very good in all categories. Test drove many other vehicles but, dollar for dollar, this is not only the best value. My Elantra Limited gives me all that you would find in top rated luxury auto. A bigger wheel base and larger wheels & tires, Head lights that turn with you on dark roads, finger tip control on steering wheel with voice command and push button starting. These and many other features which I don't have enough room to write about.

  • great station wagon

I was looking for vehicle that I could put the back seats down for my dog to roam around in the back .he rides to work with me 4 days a week and the front pickup seat was pretty confining for a50 lb dog. I commute 500 miles a week and I was looking for better gas mileage. I also wanted to be able to place 4 golf bags behind the rear seats occasionally. most of the wagon types had limited room behind the rear seat . the suv types didn't get the mileage I was wanting..With a roof rack I can carry my paddleboard, dog, golf clubs and get 29.4 mpg. great vehicle shocking the euro station wagon design didn't catch on here.love this car
