Best I test drove

I was close to buying a subaru which is a great car also but the mazda just was more fun to drive had better feel and power for 4cylinder. And I live in the south didn't need awd. Better price at the time was the convincing choice

Meets the needs and exceeds the expectation

2016 Mazda CX-5 is sturdy and pretty solid, however the drive could have been smoother. I like the seats and the legroom this car provides, the technology that comes with the car(navigation, blind spot alert and rear view camera) is definitely a plus.

Mazda CX-5 is good, infotainment awful

Drives nice, but all new cars should. I love the looks. I like it, but Infotainment (screen software) is awful. Just horrible to do anything on screen. It ruins the overall quality.

This vehicle is fun to drive and has spunk..

Fun to drive, has enough power, roomy enough to hall furniture in. Plus it is sporty looking and it is good on gas

Functional, Reliable, Attractive and Fun to Drive!

The CX-5 really has it all. It is just large enough to be functional for a small family or a couple who travels, but it is compact enough to get great gas mileage. I would recommend only buying the trim levels with the 2.5L engine. The 2.0L that comes with the Sport is underpowered. The car is beautiful inside and out, I always look back at it after I park.

MY LOVE FOR MY 2016 CX5 GRAND TOURING

I LOVED THE 2016 CX5 GRAND TOURING SO MUCH, I JUST PURCHASED A NEW ONE. THE SAFETY FEATURES FAR EXCEED ANY OF ITS COMPETITORS. YOU WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE A LUXURY VEHICLE AT A CONSIDERABLY HIGHER PRICE TAG TO RIVAL IT. IT HAS A SMOOTH RIDE, PLENTY OF LEG ROOM, AND VERY COMFORTABLE ON LONG TRIPS. I PUT 60,000 MILES ON IT AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

I have a Mazda 2016 grand touring. Big mistake

This car is the worst car I have ever owned. I only have 27000 miles and is drip in oil. My head light is having problems (is flickering) is has been more than three months waiting for a replacement and they tell me that they are building them. Not one in USA. Whould you like some one, at night driving behind you with a flikering light. I am just tired don't know what to do.

Great vehicle

Test drove all of the makes and models in this segment and this was easily the best looking and offered the most options. Sales and service have been fantastic with Mazda which has made the ownership even better. It has pretty good pep for a 4 cyl, but the option of the 'Sport' mode for an extra 5 hp. is a little gimmicky and not very practical. The heated seats work great and quickly. The hatch was a great change for all of my golf gear with plenty of space with the back seats up and tons with them down. 3 guys with clubs and gear can travel. I would recommend adding some rear bumper protection. The remote starter options with Mazda fall short of expectations (starting it up is just fine, but once you open the door the vehicle shuts off requiring you to restart it after you get your scraper/brush from inside). I also have issues with the contact lists (takes first 500, which recognizes a person with a home, cell, work, and an email address as 4 contacts? Huh) Also, the navigation doesn't have any updates or LIVE traffic as an option. Fuel economy is pretty good for an AWD, but I was hoping a little better with the 4 cyl engine. Love my sun roof. Not a big fan of the smart cruise control since it slows you down when you approach slower traffic to keep a safe distance. No power tailgate either via remote or push button on the vehicle. It's now available on the 2017 model. The ride is very solid and comfortable. The AWD is a definite plus in the Michigan winters and during rainy periods.

Fun to drive

This car is a great value and has everything I wanted without breaking the bank. It handles very well and is fun to drive. I love the navigation system and Sirius radio with Bose speakers. And it has the all wheel drive that is a must for winter. It is very solid and looks great. I love it!
