High Quality features for price

A great vehicle for transporting college kids belongings. This offers all the safety features needed with a lot of cargo area. It is VERY comfortable and offers a smooth ride for a car in it's price range!

Looks and Feels Luxurious for the Price Point.

Love the look and feel of this vehicle. The interior feels richly appointed and the exterior has very nice design features. The car handles well and has a great ride. The cabin feels spacious and there is good leg room. The acceleration is average for a four-cylinder but can be boosted through a "sport" -mode switch on the console. The only negatives so far are the factory tires that will need to be replaced at around 38,000 miles. They are rated at 40,000 miles and most of my commute is highway. The other is access to USB ports from the rear seat is almost nonexistent. With teenagers, that is a problem on long trips! There have been two recall notices in the first none months of ownership which is why I gave it a 3-star rating for reliability.

Driven about 14K miles so far

Smooth ride, quiet, nice safety features that have helped a few times with surprise drivers trying to go around your and other cars. Beautiful leather seats heated in the front and now next year in the back too.

Great gas milage-lacks appointments

Traded in my Ford Escape, with the Eco Boost and all the fringe and rhinestones. Hmm, the Mazda has it beat in mileage, but the Ford out shines it. Mazda lacks, interior ambient lighting for the feet wells, a one button trunk close button, back seats do not lay down flat, but the radar cruise control is wonderful.

It's as good as advertised!

I did a lot of research about AWD cars that get decent MPG. The Mazda CX-5 does well there, and it's zippy as can be. The back-up camera is nice. I'm still learning all the bells and whistles.

It was a great test drive start to finish.

I drove it and fell in love with it right away. It was far better for me than the CRV or the Rav4. I went home in it!

Love it

Love it, perfect for me and my current needs. Zippy, plenty of room for me and my marketing materials. Little tight in back seat for occasional multi client lunches. Perfect for me on regular 2-5 hour drives.
