2018 Mazda CX-5 consumer reviews

This is my 3rd Mazda CX-5. This by far the best. Many improvements over earlier models. Very quiet with all the new safety features. Love it!

I have been Ford all my life. I test drove the Mazda CX-5 and fell in love with it. It doesn't have a lot of space, but that is fine for a person with no kids. Engine could use some turbocharging or little more "umph". Gas mileage with the new technology is amazing. Smooth, sexy and the change of design on the exterior is superb. I may end up being a Mazda man for rest of my life.

I love my car! First of all it looks nice and high end, but it is affordable. I get so many compliments on it. Second of all, it is safe. After a recent accident I wanted the safest features. This car has it all!

The interior is unbelievable. When I first test drove it, it was crazy to think it was a Mazda... and not a Mercedes. I like the minimalism of the vehicle, along with the color scheme. This was not the car I thought I would be buying, but I am so incredibly impressed with it. As long as Mazda keeps up the good work, we think our household will be long-term clients of the manufacturer. The only note: I would love to see it equipped with Android Auto.

I wanted a midsize AWD SUV and debated between honda CRV and the Mazda CX5. Months have passed since I purchased CX5 and I must say, this car is far superior in overall performance vs the CRV. Car handles great in the rain/snow and does excellent on gas. I'm sticking to Mazda for life

All kinds of fun options. Very comfortable. High quality interior, leather is beautiful. Heads up display. Drives great. Heated seats front and back. Heated steering wheel.

This is a great SUV for the price. I had a CX 3 which was also a very nice vehicle but lacked storage space. The CX5 has some features that were not in the CX 3 like a power seat and a GPS system.

Sporty, classy and comfortable. Top of the line electronics! This car checks all the boxes! An amazing driving experience! It practically drives itself! I love it!

In my opinion, Mazda has hit a home run! The style inside and out and the price for amenities is exceptional! I checked out KIA Sportage, BMW X1,Audi X3, Honda CRX. First , I purchased the Mazda GT loaded with premium package. When I started to add features in the BMW it was mind boggling! If you want heated seats you need this pkg and another pkg for sun roof. Mazda makes it simple one pkg to get it all! I would have liked a little more power as I had a Cadillac CTS 6 cylinder. However, I find it is fine for tooling around town. Plenty of power. My first road trip will provide more information after a three hour tour! In addition, it uses regular unleaded another savings. The seats are comfortable and the interior is stylish and just as nice as the Lexus NX. I spent the better part of the year researching cars and attending two car shows one in New York and the other in CT. The value for the money is unquestionable. Mazda wants to start competing as a luxury model option. They even provide a heads up display that is a nice feature. The other item that can be seen as a negative is the lack of Apple car play. We have an older CX5 and are very impressed with the new model and the standard accessories that come with it. We were so impressed with our salesman and the car that we bought it.
