2012 MINI Cooper consumer reviews

This is my 2nd Mini Cooper. My last was the best too !!! It was a 2004 standard with only 86 K. Only reason I sold it is because I wanted an Automatic. Last month I bought a 2012 Mini Cooper w only 49 K on it. I love it for so many reasons !!! Performance, reliability, great on gas, heavy sturdy well built vehicle, roomy, back seats pop down and it turns into a small station wagon, lots of leg room, super loaded with everything you would want in a small vehicle. Fabulous heated seats, AC, sound system, criuse control, and its the best looking car on the road !!! Its a BMW no less !!! But know that it was designed by the British originally. Its a class act vehicle !!! Its my 2nd one !!!! If it didnt outlast me, Id buy my third !!!! Love, love, love my MINI Cooper. (ps) Its also the same color as my last one,........RED ????????????????????????????

This car was very fun to drive and the look was sleek. All was well until this car got older and the cost of repair exceeded many budgets of most people I know. The back seat was great for groceries and furry pets to tow around. Very good gas mileage. I will get another in a few years.

My wife likes its styling. I like it's nimble. Both of us dislike the unnecessary rough ride. It's a slow car with 120hp, I don't see a need to make it as stiff as a sports car. The transmission is anything but smooth. It had a leaky gasket (with about 51k miles) which cost us over $700 to fix. Overall I wouldn't recommend this car to anyone.

This car is exactly what I needed! It?s economical! I average 30 miles to the gallon in the city and 33 per gallon on the highway! It?s comoact and quick but roomy enough to fit me and my son who is six feet tall along with my other littles! It?s stylish and has a ton of personality from the inside out! Literally love this car! It?s the first mini I?ve druven and/or owned but I guarantee not the last!

Really surprised at how much room it has. Quality of ride is also very surprising with how well it handles. Love this car. Thinking of buying a second one to build as a toy.

I love this car. I wanted one when first released in 02, bought an 02 in 2015. Loved it so much I bought a 13 this year. I couldn't bring myself to trade in the 02, so I kept both.

Im 6 FT and have plenty of room . little more head room would be good. Gets great MPG and has amazing pickup when you put the pedal down.

I recently purchased a Mini Cooper from Otto's Mini in Exton PA. There wasn't an option for 2015, so I checked off 2012. This is such a fun car! It's cute, has plenty of pep, even in the "green" transmission mode. With the back seats folded down, we were able to do a major plant shopping trip. I'm short, so I have plenty of leg room in the back, but taller people should stick with the front passenger seat. My 6ft 4 husband has plenty of room as driver or passenger. Seriously, I will only buy Minis from now on! I was reluctant to trade in my 1999 BMW Z3, and it was bittersweet, but my "Sheldon (Mini) Cooper" is awesome!

Without a doubt my #1 automobile. No significant mechanical issues literally since the day I purchased it brand new. Would feel 100 percent safe (even with 127K miles on it) driving it anywhere in the USA and beyond.

I just really love the look and drivability of this car. Find myself going too fast on highway because the ride is so smooth. Great things can come in small packages.
