2012 MINI Cooper consumer reviews

Minis use all the space they have and it really shows when you sit in one. Everything is very driver oriented and handled great while getting great gas.

I own 2 of the `John Cooper Works? edition cooper coupes, and I love them both! While the 2012 is more suited for ?spirited driving?, the 2013 is no pony ride. They both offer the comfort and respect you would expect from - BMW / Mini Cooper. I?ve heard of people having issues with these cars being inrelable, but so far the only thing I?ve noticed is that there aren?t as many Mini dealers around as maybe Nissan or Honda... nonetheless my car(s) have yet to show any signs of malfunction or ?poor reliability? Other than that... the visibility is good, it?s handling is good (sharper on the 2012 and very smooth and playful on the 2013), and the colors really pop! For the ~$20,000 used pricetag I would recommend owning one, at least for some time of your life. However I would not pay the ~+$30k it would cost to own one new... sorry Mini!

This car was everything I wanted I have a company truck and needed something fun and sporty for the weekends and it met all my standards I like it a lot it?s a 2017 though the year only went to 2012 up above

Great car, I grew up in Ireland and i was very familar with the minis from the 70s. But wow what a great job BMW has done on this new mini.

This car has character and unique charm! It handles the roads very well. What makes this particular car stand out is its interior design and color. It's feels like one-of-a-kind. The exterior is sporty and compact--not Mini at all, really.

If you've never driven a mini- go test drive one. We just bought our third. The first two were 6 speed manuals, the new one is an automatic. The 6 speed was more fun, but even the automatic is a lot of fun. The base model with the 6 speed is very peppy. The Cooper S with a 6 speed is a little rocket. All Minis have a solid feel and really hold the road due to wide wheel base.

I love everything about my 2015 Mini Cooper 4 Door Hardtop with Moonroof. The fact that it has 4 doors and still a place in the back for groceries/luggage/shopping bags is awesome. I needed a bigger car because I have 2 dogs. I always loved the look of the Mini but it was too small for my needs. This 4 door is all i could ask for. I love the color in gray. The adjustable lighting on the interior is great as well. Put the moonroof down for some fresh air or leave it open for the dogs while you run into the store. Gas efficient. Fun to drive. Hugs the road like a more expensive sports car. Comfortable seats too. I chose to have the heated package so its nice and warm on your back in the winter or fall. All in all an A1 package.
