Fun to Drive - BMW repair costs!

Bought the car at the end of 2019 (S-All4 Turbo) and have had problems with coolant, thermostat, oil pressure sensors, etc. None of the repairs are cheap. I'm at 100k and the turbo is begginning to perish....must get rid before it costs me 4k+...I'm not recommending this car unless you make BMW money and can afford BMW repairs

Do not buy!

I purchased my Mini Cooper Countryman S 2012, in 2020 38,000 miles on it. Since i have owned it i ran into nothing but problems. I had to pay $1500 to fix my engine coolant and replace the thermostat. I had to pay another $915 for another engine repair and $510 for a wheel bearing on a tire. This car is just the worse! I love the look of it and it is fun to drive however, you run into so many problems. I'm only at 60,000 miles and i'm done with it. I'll never buy mini again and will be trading it in.

Be careful

Bought the car in June 2022 have been able to make 2 round trips in it as thir was something draining the battery, ignition problems that cost 1300 including the diagnosis fee not covered by the service contract. Got 2 new keys, very expensive only to be told nope can't drive it yet as someone had tried to steal the car and messed up the ignition to tune of another 1300. Still waiting on the part as it's back ordered and I am number 447 in line.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with maintaing

It has been nothing but a money pit, I’m so disappointed. I only wish I had been informed as to how defective this automobile really was. The list of problems never stops . It has been a very bad experience.

Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Car drives just great! Quick off the start, great passing oompth on the freeway. I just put the transmission into the sport mode and hang on! Fun to drive, great gas mileage, excellent warranty. And, the best dealership (Mini of Montgomery County ) I have ever dealt with.

MINI makes trash.

If you ask a MINI owner, they’ll pretend these things are amazing. Fortunately for this review, I’m simply married to a MINI owner. These things are absolute trash. The worst vehicles on the road. We’re on our third, and EVERY SINGLE ONE has blessed us with manufacturing issues. The warranty lasts as long as a teenage relationship, so you’re on your own once the issues come to the surface. Trash vehicles. 2008 Cooper. 2014 Countryman. 2018 Countryman S. None of them are worth the oil changes.

My little money pit.

Wanted my mini soo bad. Finally found one locally. Two months later, the BCM went out. Now, no dashboard lights. Nothing. Still runs, though. Then, not one, but two water pumps. Then, whole rear end went out. I had this car on the tow three times. After draining my bank account, I donated the car to charity. I wouldn't want to put this into anyone hands. Still, I am carefully looking for another one. The issue is, I believe, is that the car is a blast to drive, so they get rode too hard. Hard to find one that appears to have been responsible.
