Most Exciting & Practical MINI Yet

MINI took a gamble with the Countryman because it went against the traditional size that MINIs typically are. But the Countryman is still a small car at only 161 inches long, it's 2 inches shorter than a VW New Beetle, just as long as a Honda Fit, and a foot and half shorter than a 2012 Toyota Corolla! It's slightly higher ride height gives it a Crossover stance. I find the Countryman gives me the best of both worlds with its size with its ability to fit in small parking spaces and road presence among other motorist. The exterior styling is one of the first things you'll notice with this vehicle. It is truly a unique design among the mainly similar looking modern cars on roads today. It's defiantly a head turner; I get a lot of people asking about it when walking to my parked car. The performance aspect is great. The Turbo with the Cooper S trim is a must with the greater weight of the Countryman. The over-boost Sport button is a nice touch when you know you’re going to need a little extra take-off to pass that giant boat of an SUV on the on-ramp to the freeway. Handling is another strong point of the vehicle with the wheels at the far corners of the body it really has some go-kart like feeling. The interior is good with four doors my passengers are very content and comfortable. My MINI has the leather and cloth bucket seats which have great side bolstering and feeling. The dual sunroof is very cool option and when you don’t want the sun beating down on you there’s a nice sun screen that pulls out for each panel. The upgraded sound system is really nice and there are tech features galore with NAV and the MINI connected iPhone App. The only complaint being the center rail storage feature, it’s very limited in its functionality. It could do a lot better with a more traditional system. Overall I’m very satisfied with my purchase and hope to see MINI continue to keep up the great work!

I purchasedy preowned certifiedini a little over 2 months ago and in the past 5 weeks have had it service 5 times and have had 4 different loaners! There were several recalls that we're addressed in first visit then every week after it had to drive to service 35-40 min each way for other problems and lights that called for service. It seed that they never fix the problem the first time. Was totally unreliable for a 6 week period and a major inconvenience . The service rep was very helpful but the mechanics don't seem to have enough expierince . It seems the foreman always get involved and then the problem is finally fixed. I purchased a newer car for reliability and have had way too any problems. I called corporate Andrade several complaints and they offered no help or resolve , I don't see myself keeping this car as long as I planned :(:(:(

Highly recommend this MINI to anyone who is considering it. Only advice is to get the S it makes this whole compact SUV/car crossover make sense.

Been driving the CM for about a year now and still enjoy the ride. I find myself looking for reasons to "go take a drive", I would describe this car as about as much fun you can have in a ride that has 4 doors, is all wheel drive and has carseats in the back. As most people say it has more useable interior space than one would think. Motor on fellow MINI owners...........

I started car shopping a few months ago with the intent to purchase a newer Jeep Wrangler, or a Ford F150. I always shop used as I really hate how the value drops through the floor as soon as you drive the car off the lot. So I happened by the local Mazda dealership just checking out their used car lot and saw The 2 Mini's sitting in the front. Now I had to laugh as I am 6ft 3in and right around 280, but I have owned 2 Triumph GT6's, so I thought what the heck. So I decided to check out the Cooper S Countryman All4. The salesman came out with the fob and a tag, and told me to go test her out. Let me say, I was completely surprised at all the room! So off I went, and I fell in love on that 1/2 hour test drive. The car is loaded with every option available and to me was beautiful. The performance was excellent even with the 6 speed auto trans. I found myself using the paddle shifters quite a bit just for a bit of added extra fun.So needless to say when I got back to the dealership, I purchased the car. Now its been 3 months into my ownership, and the love has just grown deeper. Driving her takes me back to my days in the Marine Corps, tooling around the NC coast in my GT6, but with much more comfort and refinement. I find myself making excuses just to drive her, and I get the added bonus of the looks I get as people gawk when this really big guy steps out of his really small car. I have taken her somewhat off road, as we have fire trails in our forests, and driven her in our last 2 snow storms, and she handles great. So if you're looking for a great little AWD car that can seat 4 and gets you really good gas milage, then check out a Countryman S, and you may be suprised as I was.

I switched from a 911S to this car to a Countryman S (trying to be more practical) and absolutely love it. It is way fun to drive and has many more bells and whistles than the Porsche did. Handling is o.k., but pick up is better in this car than most other cars its size. Even after changing from the 911S, I LOVE this car. Fun and funky!
