This is a great car

I have been the proud owner of 4 saab 9-3s. The refreshening of the 08 year only made this car better. The cars have always been reliable and the performance for the price is more than adequate. The leather upholstery can be a bit fragile and I encourage all to use leather conditioner to keep it supple and flexible. The only other thing that could be better is a bit more space in back seat for rear passenger seating, and the new standard GM radio looks out of place and cheep in this car. All in all i've bought in the past and continue to be loyal to this brand, cost for maintenance is about the same for any other GM car and i've never had to do any repairs ever! other than preventive maintenance and standard servicing.

Love !

I LOVE DRIVING THIS CAR!! Bought a brand new 2008 SAAB 93 Aero SportsCombi at the end of June 2009! It has the 280hp engine with the 6 speed automatic and AWD. It had 92 miles when I bought it. I traded my Pontiac for it and with my trade and rebates it was a steal. Wife and I fight over who is going to drive it. This is my second SAAB! We just love it. Cannot wait till it snows!

Excellent Vehicle

I recently leased this car in December and it is one of the best vehicles I have ever driven. The handling and performance is excellent. The front and rear seats are extremely comfortable. The interior and outside look is very luxurious. Overall, I would recommend this vehicle to everyone!

I love my car

I bought the absolute base Saab 2.0. With rebates, it was a steal. It's beautiful, rides well, and surprisingly, gets great mileage. I've been getting about 24 mpg in mostly city driving. It doesn't have quite the performance/handling of other cars I've had, but it's still very good and still very much fun to drive. And comfortable for passengers.

Excellent first car.

Just a quick list of things I like and don't like. I do enjoy the comfort this car provides even on the terrible Michigan roads I drive down everyday. Took a trip from Detroit to Clearwater, FL and the only gripe is that I couldn't go the whole distance without a rest. Excellent handling, great speed, and stable at speeds over 100 mph. The cons would be that my specific car didn't come with all the features I'd like. For instance, the passenger seat isn't power, I don't have xenon's, no fog lights. The things that everybody will have that I don't like thought would be firstly, the audio system is ugly. It's the standard GM fare which works, but is quite ugly. The standard speakers aren't going to impress audiophiles, and XM only is a shame since Sirius has a far superior lineup of channels with less ads. Since I don't have a power passenger seat, the control to raise and lower the seat is located behind the seat belt which is annoying. the glovebox does not close nicely, it has two latches and even when you close it, it feels like it'll still pop open, although, I do love that the glove box is the size of an airplane hangar. Turbo lag is annoying but unavoidable unfortunately. This can be remedied by turning on the sport mode, but you'll have to sacrifice some fuel economy. The front seat head rests unfortunately are difficult to lower once you put them up and are also harder then diamonds. Despite all this, I love my car and would recommend this to anybody in the market for something different. Just a word of advice, if you can, get the red paint option, it just look outstanding compared to other cars.

Great so Far!!

Great car. Looks more Saabish and sporter than the past few years. Great acceleration and handling. I am so happy that I finally was able to get a Saab
