Very reliable and strong at 345k miles

The interior is very roomy for its size and suitable for a family of 5. My xB currently has 345k miles and uses no oil and does not smoke or make any noise. I'm very impressed with its reliability as I drive the vehicle 80 miles a day for work. This xB is extremely inexpensive and shares the same motor as the Prius. 2006 and prior year models are known to last 300k plus miles. My last xB showed 450k miles when I sold it to a friend who now has over 500k miles on it! This vehicle is not a performance model, but will get you where you need to go (so long as you are not in a hurry). I'd recommend this model to any person or small family looking for a reliable and economic mode of transportation.

Best car I've ever had and I've had many.

Without a doubt the best car ever for the money. Reliable in every way. Never a major repair in over 300,000 miles just regular servicing.

My Baby she is loud

This car was amazing when I bought her used with 126,000 miles now she is pushing 160,000 across country is no problem for this car. I have put close to 15,000 into the audio system and performance parts such as cold air intake, chip, exhaust, and lowering suspension and wow is she peppy. Fro 108 horsepower to 168 horsepower is a big difference in this little mean classy machine.

I like the Scion

My wife and I have plenty of room in the car despite it's small size. It's performance is also very nice. The mileage is a real difference from the vehicle we had previously.

Very reliable. Low maintenance.

Plenty of leg and head room front and back. Good cargo space. Great gas milage. Owned for 10 years before being rear-ended in 2016. Held it's value, never a recall. 2008 redesign ruined the XB.

Roomy vehicle that's dependable

My car has over 200,000 miles and is a stick shift. I do regular oil changes with synthetic oil at 5,000 miles. So far, in total lifetime repairs (I've owned it since 12,500 miles) I have spent about $1800 for major repairs (a bearing and something i can't remember in the engine). I would buy this car again.

The Best Car I've Ever Owned

The Scion xB's came with Toyota's 1.5L engine, the toughest engine ever built. With just standard maintenance, the Scions built in 2006 and before are 300,000 mile vehicles. The xB is roomy, comfortable and versatile while still being very economical and reliable. Hands down, the best car I have ever owned. And I am 72 years old!
