This car turns heads

This car has a very unique look!! The reliable Toyota motor provides great fuel economy, I have never had any maintenance issues making it one of the most reliable car I've ever owned. And the cherry on top, this car is so fun to drive!!!

Very Comfy and Fun to Drive

Always wanted a Scion xB and I am so happy to have found a good buy on Cars.com. So much fun to drive I enjoy driving again. Hope I can keep it as long as my last used Toyota - 10 years.

Ideal for Tall Drivers

Head room, leg room, and comfortable passenger side seating too. We are a tall family and that is an important aspect to us. Beyond the height accommodations our Scion is sporty, reliable and fun to drive.

First Car I Ever Bought

This is a great car. Appearing deceptively small from the exterior, we were surprised to find it extremely roomy on the inside. All of us tall people, we found the interior more than comfortable, with sufficient head and leg room for all, both front and back. Its gets incredible mileage, costs little to fill. The ride is smooth, quiet and comfortable. The storage area holds more than enough for any kind of shopping or luggage, etc. The front AC/heating system easily cools/heats the entire car. Five years now and maintenance has been minimal beyond regular upkeep. Given the many other, older model xB's I still see on the road, looking as new as mine, I don't doubt I'll be driving this for years to come.

Sion xb

I love this car, after giving a driving test in it, I thought this what I want. after all the driving test I give, every day. I kept thinking. Hmm never felt this roomy and comfortable. I just felt in love with it. I hate that they quit making them in 2015. Not to mention the price was right. I never thought I would like a box car, even the Kia Soul has the same roomy feeling. Gotta love the box cars.

Basically a micro-van

I bought this car used with about 50K miles on it. The styling is basically 2/3rds scale minivan, but that's just fine with me. I wanted something that can swallow up a lot of stuff, and this car excels at that task! It's also easy to get in and out of, the seats are quite comfortable for long commutes, and I like the center-mounted instrument cluster better than the conventional layout. The stereo offers basic connectivity to my smartphone, but that's all I want. Things I don't like are the interior materials ... hard and cheap Toyota plastic abounds in this car. But at least it's well-fitted plastic. The engine is twin-cam so it loves to rev, but it's got the weight and "aerodynamics" of a 2/3rds scale panel van, so the power is never more than "adequate."

My XB

I owned a Toyota Cressida for 15 years, when it started costing money, I decided to purchase the 2012 XB. My Toyota dealer gave me a great price and warranty. I am 76 years old but my XB makes me feel like a kid again. Everyone was amazed at how much room there is. The instrument panel is great I just have to glance at it. So easy to get in and out of. Of course I am still learning about some of the neat stuff it has. As far as gas mileage it's great and I don't drive the freeways. Some blind spots but what car is free of blind spots. It does take some bumps a little hard but overall it's a comfortable ride. I am very happy with my XB. 5 stars from me.

26-28 MPG !

Great car- gas mileage is seriously underrated. I regularly get 26-28 MPG on a mix of town and highway driving. Toyota quality -200k plus car!

College Daughter LOVES the car!!!!

We replaced a 2009 SCion Xb with a 2012 Scion Xb. My daughter Loved her 2009, and it was a great car. Lot's of room, good on gas, etc. She totaled the 2009, and we replaced it with a 2012! The 2012 is even better than the 2009! Upgraded Stereo with Bluetooth and upgraded material on the seats. We know what we were getting and found a GREAT price on a 2012 coming off lease. The 2009 held it's value very very well, so that factored into the decision to get another Xb. Safety was another factor, as the 2009 did an excellent job of protecting her in the accident. She LOVES the car for the styling, room, and reliability. When she talks with her friends, they are all talking about repairs and breakdowns, and the Scion has had not of that.
