Most reliable suv I’ve owned!

This suv has a lot of power! Interior it’s very spacious, runs very smooth and quite! I love it! On snow and off road it’s a thank.

Great little truck but...

So I was happy to find a low miles, manual transmission Forester. Yay! Now for the bad: oil consumption, 1 qt every 1,000 miles or so if I use the watery 0W-20. So Im using 5W-30 and that has helped. Transmission issue: I had to spend $1000 to change some internal bearings before they failed prematurely and destroy the transmission. Wheel bearings: already had to change them all. Also, there's something rattling inside the back seat. So after 3 years with my Subie, Im considering getting rid of it.

Would've kept it except for oil usage.

It was a fun car. 5-spd MT, 25 mpg., panoramic sunroof and could lay two adult (I'm 6'2) bicycles in the back. Full-time AWD a plus!

We love our Forester

We bought this Subaru slightly used after our 2006 Outback developed a cylinder head leak. We've put 116K miles on it mostly on the highway. We get it serviced at Lokey Subaru. Our impression is that they are trustworthy and knowledgeable about maintaining our Subaru. It runs like new and looks like new. The interior has a little too much plastic. But who cares. It takes us everywhere and never complains. We've only had to replace the rear brakes.

Beautiful and durable vehicle.

This car meets and exceeds all of my needs. I looked an numerous wagon-like models, because my old car was . VW Passat wagon. I looked at the Outback and the Forester, and immediately chose the Forester because of the feeling of space (more head room, bigger windows, and the moon roof).

Won't buy anything other than a Subaru

The Forester is the best made, best snow car I've ever owned. It is quiet, comfortable and, best of all, reliable. It truly is the "Mercedes of Japanese cars". Until the quality drops, I won't own anything else.

Love it!

I love Subarus they are great cars and so far I've had two of them. AWD, good gas mileage and good styling. They can get rid of the CVT transmissions or improve them but other than that great cars!

Best car ever!

This is the third Forester I?ve owned so that speaks for itself. It is very reliable in all kinds of weather, safe, and has great visibility. There is a lot of storage in back and room for my large dog to ride along on road trips. I highly recommend!

Only car I will ever own. Love my Forester.

Love it. Gave my 2005 to my daughter when her car blew the transmission. I purchased my 2012 to replace the 2005. We are both true Subaru Forester owners forever.
