  • My first hybrid

A bit more of a wagon than a suv. Love the luxury package. The seat massage and pilot assist are my favorite features. Smooth ride!

  • So far so good -still new to me

I needed a car as my son was taking mine to move to another state. This checked all boxes. So far I'm loving it! It is beautiful, comfortable, rides very nice. The only option I didn't get was the B&W. I'm not an audiophile. I did test drive the 2020 with it. Frankly, I think the standard stereo is very good. This was a big concern prior to purchase, but I'm not at all disappointed. I wanted the air suspension as we travel to Sedona and places like this and I wanted the clearance. We have a Jeep for real stuff, but I like the ability to get out of a jam. Also, it makes the ride of the larger tires smoother I think.

  • XC 60 "Plug-in Hybrid"

I'm getting great mileage with this SUV and the safety features are amazing. Looking forward to mountain driving this year w/ a new set of snow tires. The 400 hp is very impressive!! Be cautious if you accelerate quickly, best to be in "Sport Diving Mode".

  • Very Impressed With My XC60 Hybrid

I am very happy with my purchase. This is my first Volvo / luxury SUV. I love the comfort, acceleration, steering responsiveness, and the safety features. I work from home, my main driving is around town and a few long road trips to the mountians to visit family. I would have preferred better hybrid mileage but really for 98% of my use I am always driving in hybrid mode. I did get a rapid charger and am very happy with the charging time. I can do a full charge in about 2.5 hrs. I live in Rocky Mountain Region. Winter is coming and we will be ready.

  • Absolutely in love!

We purchased this vehicle to gain more space for our family than the 2016 S60 we'd been driving had provided. I had narrowed down my list of candidates to the BMW X3 M40i and the Volvo XC60 T8 Hybrid and I test drove both thoroughly. In my opinion, the Volvo was superior in every way across the board. There is a wow factor to every aspect of this vehicle, from the slick exterior styling to the quality of materials and craftsmanship inside to, especially, the unexpectedly peppy powertrain. It's fun, luxurious and spacious... everything we wanted and more!

  • Don't be fulled about the stated gas mileage...

I am sure this a a very safe vehicle as other reviews state and if you like the lines of the Volvo you will like the look of this car but if you think you will be getting the stated 54 mpg then I have a bridge for you I want you to buy. The battery is ridiculously small. Running on "Pure" the battery will be dead in under 20 miles, my golf carts will get better! I am getting something like 21 mpg, not impressed at all. It basically is a 4 cylinder 2 liter engine with both super charger and turbo charger. It has a rear electric engine as well. You have to charge it CONTINUALLY or basically you are running on the above 4 cylinder 2 liter engine. If you want an electric vehicle then get a real one like Tesla. If you want a gas vehicle then get the gas version of this. But the Volvo hybrid is a sad joke, don't be fooled. Don't believe me, drive one for a week prior to buying it and see what you think. One last comment, the cruse control with auto piloting is dangerously poor, I won't use it. It drifts out the lane with any degree of curvature in the road, this is not even close to being an "auto piloted" vehicle.

  • A sporty car yet efficient and practical.

The plug in hybrid feature is fabulous, especially since we power it off of our solar panels. It?s a great car for daily urban living (easy to park, great mileage, hauling kids, etc) yet perfectly rugged for our outdoor adventures. We looked at cars for an entire year and are so happy to have found our perfect match.

  • Great car!

I just purchased the 2018 Volvo XC60 T8. This is a very nice car and I have owned all the luxury brands. I love the Pilot Assist, it makes driving mutch less grueling. It almost made rush-hour stop and go traffic enjoyable. That?s just one of several things I like about the XC60. I?m looking forward to years of great service and enjoyment.

  • Impressive design

The tech and styling are really great and it's very quick to drive (with the electric boost). We loved the styling (inside and out). The electric engine has been great and we're still on our first tank of gas.

  • Safest SUV. Period.

Volvo brand has always been my favorite. Their Scandinavian design, simplicity and their attention to complete safety is what kept me with them for many years. With the recent changes with Volvo, it?s only more clear that their future is going to be amazing. They have completely rethought their car line, and with the new XC60 they are gonna be very recognizable on any road. This is my first SUV, and I wouldn?t have gotten it if it wasn?t for the beautiful design of XC60. This size is not too big and not so compact like other luxury makers. I got the T8 Twin Engine trim with 10 kWh battery that gives 18-20 miles range on pure electric drive. My favorite things about the car: -air suspension is incredibly comfortable and soft -remote start, pre-cooling, pre-heating all though the Volvo App is amazing, even works with my Apple Watch -comfort and quietness of the cabin -design of the interior and the screen interface and interaction -internet in the car, over the air updates of all maps, installation of free apps -Volvo?s own sound system is superb -Spotify -Apple CarPlay -Autonomous Drive is very accurate from everyday driving to work -auto braking and crash avoidance is amazing -once a year maintenance is a breeze -electric drive is so smooth and quick, it almost feels like a mini Tesla -LED lights are beautiful and bright enough in all situations I?ve experienced -size of the XC60 is just right Things that can improve: -Volvo needs to work with dealerships more and be allowed to fully update the car over-the-air -charging speed could improve with time, with software updates too -transition from engine to electric needs more ironing out -more options and controls in the user interface and the screen, few more options to make the car your own and have more customizations -Volvo needs to help plug-in hybrids to find charging stations, they kind of let that up to the driver Overall this is the best car I?ve even driven, even comparing it to cars I?ve been in, like Audi and BMW, Volvo always takes on extra points on character, design, and comfort. This is truly Scandinavian philosophy, nothing more and nothing less, just what you need, and after driving it everyday I can see it very well.
