When I first saw the 4C with its stunning beautiful looks and then the Spider which reminded me of an old Dino Ferrari I thought wow! Then I read it only had a turbo charged 4 cylinder and no manual transmission so I wasn’t too keen. Fast forward a few months later and I found myself at the local Alfa dealer and had a test drive. OMG! The handling of the car and the “connection “ I seemed to have with the car was nothing I had experienced before and this is from a previous air cooled Porsche 911 die hard!! I had to have one. Fortunately the Minister of Finance in our household did some maths and a few months later I was driving home a beautiful giallo ( yellow to you non Italian speaking car buffs) spider. Every time i drive this thing she always brings a smile to my face. Upon parking and exiting the car I never fail to turn around and look back. Is it perfect - absolutely not, the interior is cheaply put together, it lacks any and all creature comforts, it’s noisy as xxxx, but who cares? People risk neck injuries as they turn to see what it is as I drive past, kids love it and it announces itself a kilometre before it arrives anywhere due to that loud booming exhaust. Getting in and out requires grace and athleticism which left me in my teens if I had any at all but once snugly fit in those racing seats the whole cockpit surrounds you like a jet fighter ready to take off and boy does it ! It’s amazing how fast this car is helped predominantly by its super low weight and tarmac hugging low height. It’s such a visceral experience that every petroleum head needs in their lives.

The car is an instant classic, very reliable, hand made, and gets so many compliments, it's incredible. They really must have spent over $300k per car to make these and it's probably unlikely Alfa will ever make a car like this that's shipped to the USA again. It's been extremely reliable, and it's a real head turner. The prices on these are already going up and soon it will be a classic collector car.

I'd been looking for this car for a while and came across two at different dealerships in my area, unfortunately they sold really fast. So, I started my search online and although I was a bit skittish of buying a car online without seeing or driving it first, I couldn't be happier with the car, the process, and most of all the salesman, Mitchell Macaluso. This is a full throated drivers car. Don't buy it if your more concerned with storing golf clubs or chrome gauges. I found any tramming was completely corrected by a set of larger conti hypo tires. The Pirellis are really the problem!!. Performance is wonderful @ 26K miles. Everytime I drive i say I Love Driving This Car.
