Bill the service writer was awsome.

I was a walk in due to a check engine light on my 2002 S-10, I had just come from another place that wanted $125 to check and find out what was wrong and if I had the work done there, it would not be applied there. I thought that was wrong because the truck gave codes to what was wrong. Bill, the service writer took the time to explain that there was more to just reading some code from the truck and went through what the mechanic might have to do. Then he explain the time factor with me being a walk in. He arranged a guy to take me home and also at the end, arranged for someone to pick me up when the work was done because my wife was out of town. It turned out that truck had sensed my thermostat on the engine had failed. Who knew that the truck could do that? I am 72 and computer friendly but I am not truck friendly and Bill explained every thing to me so I could understand. That is why I rate him as awesome.
