Not Like the Others

Recently in the market to replace my 5 series BMW and was shopping 650 Gran Coupes and MB CLS 550s. I stopped in to Auto Junction to look at a CLS 550 they had online and took it for a test drive with a rep. It was nice enough, but as a long time BMW owner, I wanted to drive the Grand Coupe that was available at another dealer up the road as well. No pressure from Auto Junction, they said go and check it out. I told them I may be back in a half hour. Well, I did test drive a (the one I was after had already been sold ) Grand Coupe and did like it very much. However, it was overpriced, the dealer wouldn't negotiate the price, and they were crazy low on my trade in. I left and was tired after having worked most of the day and so went back home rather than back to Auto Junction like I had said I would. I went back today (two days later) and asked if I could drive the car again. This time they just handed me the keys, told me to have fun, and bring it back when I was ready. I took it for a nice spin and decided to pull the trigger on it. After telling Alex my story re the other place and the bad trade offer, he gave me almost twice what the other dealer was offering. Offered extended warranty and gap coverage, but no pressure at all when I declined. I didn't haggle the asking price because I had done my homework and I already knew he had priced the car more than fairly. Got the paperwork done, car detailed and I'm out they door in less than an hour. No more 3 hour ordeals at dealerships for me. Fair list price, good trade value, fast paperwork. These guys are true blue.
