Wow! Can't remember having a car buying experience like this before! Carl and Jay in sales spent lots of "no pressure" time showing me the new 2026 cars and working up a "no hassle" deal that was easily acceptable. David clearly explained the low interest financing and maintenance plans. Joseph spent a good amount of time showing me all the car's new electrical features. He even went to the trouble of stopping by my house to program the garage door opener to my car!! I met with Ryan D. in the service department where he has given expert advice on maintenance with my previous car and I look forward to working with him again. I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.
