I own a 07 GMC sierra 2500hd. Had a problem with climate controls. Have taken it to a GMC dealer in Watertown, Ct, wont say the name. They had my truck for two weeks, did not fix it and wanted to charge $575 . Loehmann-Blasius Chevrolet had my truck for thee days, diagnosed and fixed the problem for much less. I am happy to drive my truck an enjoy it. Will highly recommend the service at Loehmann Blasius To any one. Thank you Mike Strenk

I should have researched the 2018 X5 EDrive

I Was expecting better mileage than my previous 2013 X5 Diesel. Electric mode is quickly drained going short distances and far from the advertised 52 mpg. Considering the difference in cost and some functionality, the X5 Diesel is a better option. The engine light has come on 4X’s after less than 4000 miles, consequently it has been in Service for weeks at a time and they were unable to diagnosis the problem. Needless to say I am concerned on reliability to drive the car a long distance.

May 16, 2017 The troubling spectacle that a couple of airline passengers aboard United and American Airlines were subjected to, underscores the (now diminished) proposition of what customer service should not be about. But since this review is about a car dealership; the North Haven BMW dealership to be precise, the notion of a customer being hauled away from the premises for being an aggravated pain, would be a highly improbable scenario to envisage. But that unimaginable prospect is not what this is. In fact, my repeated experience with Ashley the service advisor; her manager Nicole as well as Carl and Todd were so pleasant and endearing I thought it would be more effective if I were to add context to this review so the contrast could be better imagined and appreciated. Needless to say there are other individuals that helped make up that conclusion, but whose names I regretfully do not remember. But suffice it to say that all of them to a person, made me feel and think that I can go about my routine with a peace of mind, confident in the knowledge that our car will be repaired and returned to us in the standard that befits its brand name. It has almost been a year since our first visit to that dealership (for service repairs) and in each instance, our expectations were unfailingly met even exceeded, (in a couple of instances, I had raised a question about specificity) but overall, they most definitely, deliver! Given that observation, I can without hesitation, say that ALL of them are a definite asset to the BMW name and quite naturally to their employer, Mike Mauro. Most appealingly is the follow up call the following day by Alison, (prompted by Ms. Roudie I was told) for that thought, certainly seals the deal for me. Thank you all very much! I just purchased a certified 2017 X1 Liam a car with less than 4000 miles last Friday from Hoffman. From the beginning I found the dealership and especially the salesman, STEVE Whitcomb, to be professional and courteous. STEVE fought to get me the price I needed for the car I wanted. I just purchased my 5th X5 since 2004, this, new and updated version of the BMW X5 is sleeker, faster, hugs the road and is wonderfully comfortable. Gas mileage has improved to 20mph - really a superb vehicle all around.

I've bought cars from this dealership but not this specific car. The other dealership was unable to accomodate my schedule but N.Haven did. Luis was my service advisor, he listened and kept me up to date on the work. When it was determined more needed to be done than initially thought, he was able to get me a loaner. Danielle was professional and helpful checking out the loaner. The work was done as expected, Luis went through the car with me even though its was past working hours and I was trying to get him home. Overall, it was very easy and will affect my choices when it's time for my next BMW.

The right size SUV for my growing family. Very comfortable especially for a long drive and lots of room front and back. Has twin turbo, equipped with navigation and backup camera all features my hubby loves. I am up higher compare to my 2016 RAV4 and feels really really comfortable.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Terrific, efficient luxury SUV

Needed a larger car to accommodate my growing family. But also wanted something on the fuel-efficient side. There are very few plug in or fully electric SUVs (Mercedes, Volvo, Tesla, BMW). The X5 40e has been tremendous - it's plenty peppy, allows all electric driving around town (I'm getting 12-15 miles on the battery). For commutes under 40 miles, if you need an SUV, you should consider this. My only two fill ups (in 3 months of driving) have shown 29 and 37 MPG, respectively. The more short trips you do, the better.

Everyone @ BMW Bridgeport showed patience, knowledge and expertise. Having owned BMW's for over 15 years I will always by the brand only at BMW of Bridgeport. Vinny not only listened to my needs/wants, delivered exactly what I expected without pressuring me for more upgrades and did not hassle me to make a decision. He went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable with the purchase. When I picked up the vehicle someone (I'm embarassed to have forgotten his name) spent close to an hour reviewing the enhancements to the 2018 3 series. Ensuring I felt confident driving the vehicle home, taking time to to hooking up my blue tooth and loading my radio stations. There were quite a few differences between my current 3 Series and new one. He was very patient with my technical limitations and made all the changes seamless. Victoria from the Business Office was personable and made the transaction easy; ensuring that all the Financials were easily understood. My decision to start the sales process with BMW of Bridgeport came through my 10 year always positive relationship with my Service Specialist Bernard. I have been able to trust in his knowledge and judgements about the service of my previous vehicle for 10 years and I know nothing about cars or technology. Basically buying a vehicle at BMW of Bridgeport is seeing a "family" @ work. The process involved a lot of different people,they all showed trust in each others strengths to give me the "ultimate BMW experience". Thank you all!

This car serves all my wants and needs in an suv. Fun to drive, stylish, plenty of horsepower and great fuel economy. It's so light and responsive at the wheel. It handles like a sports car, but has the fuel efficiency of a Honda Civic. The electric battery comes in handy driving in town or stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. Very comfortable ride. My family love this car. I would recommend a test drive to really appreciate this car.
