2026 BMW M440 review
Over the years I've heard a great deal of the outstanding driving experience and fabulious features of the BMW cars. Now that I have purchased a 2026 M440X I understand their praise. The slogan " The Ultimate Driving Experience" is not just an advertising gimmick. I'm still learning the many, many cool features of my car even after the excellent tutorial by the Dealership and reading the manual. In short, I'm sold on Germain Engineered cars and am now part of the BMW family. Too bad US car manufacturers don't make this quality of car. My opinion, is that it the cost would be outside the reach of most Americans.

2016 BMW 228 review
2016 BMW 228i xdrive convertible. The best part: reliability. We are approaching 94k miles and we've had no issues with this car. It feels solid, which is remarkable for a convertible. Everything works just as it should with just routine maintenance. I have only three complaints: the sport seats are my number one complaint. The seat has great lumbar support and is supportive, but the side bolsters on the seat cushion are rock hard and hurt my hips. I have to use a pad to raise myself up a little to ease the pain. The 2nd complaint, and this is worth noting, in comfort mode the throttle can be slow to react. This is so bad it got me rear ended once because the car simply did nothing for several seconds when I pressed the pedal down. Sport mode cures this. Lastly, it requires premium gas. Ford and others get similar horsepower results with regular gas, so I think BMW should be able to also.

2012 BMW 650 review
This was my 5th BMW but my first 6 Series and clearly the most fun car I have ever owned. I bought my 2007 650 Convertible pre-owned (1 previous owner) with 19K miles in 2010. Here I am over 13 years later and at 225K miles (yes, you are reading that right)... and still in love. I have taken very good care of it and did do an engine replacement a few years ago at 180K miles with a preowned engine because of the smoke exhaust, but was well worth it because I was not nearly ready to let this car go. At the time I believed that was either going to end up being the worst decision I have ever made...or the best. Feeling good about that $8K right now because the car is truly a joy to drive and rides like new. One caution: the run flat tires are VERY fragile and VERY expensive (over $500 per tire). 2014 BMW 428 review
Our 3rd BMW, wanted fun weekend car, couldn’t find Z4 coupe so we settled on a pre-owned 428i coupe w/ Sport Line pkg. Wow! Turn dynamic display to Sport + and it’s a Screamer! Turn it back to Comfort = 35 mpg w/ cruise set at 75 mph. True coupe, room for 4 full size adults. Once you change out run flats ride really improves. Was very surprised what BMW can do with 4 cylinder, now a believer. It does everything a sports coupe should do, excels at almost all of them. Our car was dead nuts reliable, no issues. And it is a very attractive, athletic looking car. Plenty of compliments. And spoke with some BMW track guys, one who owned a tuned +380 hp 428i, advised it was a 8/10ths car- it does 80% of a M powered coupe- pretty impressive.

They said they'd have a look at it, that it might be within their specs but not ours. Manager offered to reimburse us the inspection and shipping fee. Can't argue with that. Great customer service.

2024 BMW M2 review
Wow. After reading negative comments concerning weight and the front end, I was unsure while waiting for the car that I would like it. It’s an amazing beast, and better than I expected. Weight gains in part are due to stiffening braces in the rear sides and under the car. Yes, it’s a bit heavy, but the lack of flex more than pays you back. The front end with the rectangular intakes has a purpose. This car needs a lot of air intake for cooling. Behind the rectangular intakes a coolers which need air. This car is well behaved when it needs to be, and complies with daily driving, yet when you want to play, it responds well. I feel this is the total package at an affordable price. The only place I feel could have been a bit better is road feedback through the steering wheel.
