She drove it on a friday, said they call on Monday nothing all week, so she called the service part of the dealership on the following Friday.
The guy calls with some story, it was just a sensor. Justin needs to find a new job, he's not a good salesman. Car was all clean on cars.com, get there it's all dirty, scratches all over it, way over priced for the condition of it.
Mediocrity at best.

This car has a 50/50 like, hate for me. Poor gas mileage, visibility, ride, mixed squeaks and rattles.Engine is peppy, driver seat memory, heated steering wheel, and a few other accessories are nice.
Employees were very courteous. We had a very short wait to get in and when we did get inside employees want right to work changing oil and rotating tires. Only a short wait before they were done.
Worst car I've ever owned!

This was is a piece of crap. When I first got it, the lights flickered. The "company mechanic" tightened the battery cables and said I was good. For a while, I was. The car started security locking itself down and wouldn't start. The speakers would go in and out when; the radio worked. Finally, the warranty co. authorized a trip to a dealership. The car had major electrical and transmission problems. The electrical problems were not covered in my warrant so I called the lot and told them yo pick their up from the dealership. I forgot to mention I'd only had it 4 months and it had been to Midas twice. 1st bill, $988. 2nd bill, $643.
He did a great job of helping and assisting in answering any and all questions. From start to finish they explain things very thoroughly. Generally it was excellent experience
Worst of the 5 Buicks I've owned

6 engine oil leaks, broken motor mount, loose body side molding, poor accelerator response, poor air conditioner, unsafe too slow windshield wipers, ignition key problem, reprogram engine computer, tires were much older than the factory manuf. date. All of this from day one. Dealer tried hard but the design issues were unsurmountable. I will never buy another GM vehicle.
Mike in service, went above and beyond bu picking me up with a loaner car. It was after hours but he did the right thing I appreciated him for this act.
There’s Park Ave and not exactly

Buick made the Lucerne to replace the Park Ave/Ultra. I don’t know for sure but I suspect the reason they are no longer in production is because they fall so far short of that goal it’s not even funny. First off the seats are a bucket that is too narrow and too short for true comfort. I’m not a big guy, 175 pounds and 5’11’, so my dissatisfaction with the seats is not that i’m Too big. I bought the car !70 miles from my home and after the 3 hour trip to get back home I was so sore and cramped it took me 2 days to recover. If I could have I would have returned the car. So then I had to spend $600 on a seat modification just to make the car so I could drive it within the region. Other interior issues like the hard cover over the seatbelts are constantly getting bumped by my left elbow funny bone wich isn’t funny. Cup holders are not designed for anything but slender cups (read medium size). Don’t sit a small McDonalds coffee cup with lid attached or you will have a spill to clean since the holder is so deep it tries to swallow the cup. The holder will only fit one cup/mug with a handle. The engine is under powered for 2 lane highway travel if you plan on passing slower moving vehicles. It runs out of power above 70 mph. These cars have a lot of road noise and air noise around the windows, which is wearing on long trips.
Fuel mileage will be at the bottom of the EPA rating unless you bump tire pressure up to the maximums as shown on the tires. I’ve tested ride quality at the Buick recommended level and the Goodyear tire maximum level and there’s not a lot of difference. With the higher levels I can average 21mpg. With the lower level only 17mpg. The car is not easy to get into and out of. I have a Nissan 300ZX and it’s actually easier to get in and out due to a longer door that opens further.
All of the bells and whistles seem to work well. Although the lane departure feature is overly sensitive. If you get to within 2 feet of a lane line it beeps so you can’t just drive in your lane you have to carefully stay in the middle. If you find yourself in a badly rutted lane and the ruts don’t conform to the lines you have to turn it off or listen to constant beeps. I turn it off mostly so it’s kind of a ’what for’.
Bottom line is if you are looking for a Buick ride like the old Park Avenue, you need to keep looking. If you find a car with that kind of comfort and amenities in that price range (adjusted for inflation of course) please let me know. I will add that my wife agrees with all of my complaints but because she finds it easier to park (due to it’s narrower and shorter size) she likes the car. But then she likes most cars as long as they arn’t a Toyota.
I really liked my Lucerne at first. Now I am experiencing some interior door handle issues. (apparently common). Also why are the headlight bulbs so hard to change?
Pros: trunk room, leg room, smooth ride, and electronic settings option.
Cons: broken interior door handle, broken lane departure system and headlight bulbs are difficult to change.
This is my third Lucerne. Made the mistake of going to a Verano for 3 years (still a decent LITTLE car) after my second. Switched back to a Lucerne, and I am delighted! 2009 CXL. Best car ever! Named it Octavia since I bought it in October.
Jason Fluery/ AlSerra Auto Plaza is a wonderful salesman. He was very patient and listened to every detail and searched until he found exactly what I was looking for. He went over and beyond to make it happen! I appreciate all the hard work and extra time he put in to get the job done! I had a ton of fun working with him!! My experience was awesome! I'm so happy with my new ride! Way to go Jason! You Rock!

This is a smooth ride no matter if your going for a short trip down the street or a long ride out of town, it's roomy in the front and back and the heater is amazing. From freezing to toasty warm in less than 5 minutes, your going to love getting in this when the temperature drops outside. . It has a very sophisticatedengine, that will tell you whenever it needs anything, and even the windshield wipers don't need you to control them, they come on, speed up and slow down all on thier own, keeping your windshield clear perfectly.
I've been a couple times for service but this last time my truck was hit and it was pretty bad they took excellent care of me and it was fast extremely fast and it looks beautiful amazing both sides and back I couldn't be more impressed I would highly recommend them the people there are extremely helpful the service department in the body shop is amazing please do not let these other negative reviews affect your decision go try them for yourself

Great Family car with a get up and go engine, has all the options anyone needs! It is fully loaded, looks great washed and cleaned
My visit to the dealership was a good experience. The sales rep had already sent me a video of the vehicle showing the outside and inside. I was early for my appointment but the rep was able to accommodate me. I received a call to confirm my appointment that morning. When i got there the sales rep went to get the vehicle, i test drove it and began the process to purchase the vehicle which did not take very long. Overall i had a good experience with this dealership.

Good people! Went in to see the exact car that I wanted. Did a test drive immediately, loved the car. They did what they could to make sure that I would leave home with the car that I wanted. And I did just that! Everyone I came into contact with were friendly and professional. Thanks Nick

Next to the Park Ave. it is one of the best cars I have ever owned. We have been a Buick family for many years. The Park Ave. was a great car.
I was fortunate to have purchased a used (2000) Jeep Wrangler from Thompsons, the staff displayed integrity, courtesy and professionalism to the highest degree. The jeep runs great and has added lots of fun to our lives in Florida! Mike and the rest of the staff a huge thanks to all..Keep up the good works
A Testament To Buick Quality

I special ordered (new) for my wife our 2007 Buick LuCerne CXL in 2007 when they came out. It is the first Buick we ever owned so I did not know what to expect.
Fast forward 12 years of ownership and it is still running strong and quiet. This car has exceeded all my expectations and is a sheer pleasure to own.
It is still mechanically sound, smooth, tight and still serves us well with comfort. No engine or mechanical problems since we bought it . What repair costs that we did incur were the results on normal wear and tear and timely LOF changes.
I'm quite sure that sensible driving habits, the conscientious maintenance care as suggested by GM's schedules I give it plus detailing (interior/exterior 2 to 3 times a year) and frequent car washing has a great deal to do with its current excellent condition; a condition that still gets compliments from passersby.
This LuCerne started my love for Buick and was a major reason in my decision to purchase my new Buick Lacrosse in 2014 whose intrinsic quality is also sealing my loyalty to the Buick brand.
My wife, who is not a car person by any stretch of the imagination, absolutely loves her LuCerne and has every intent to keep her car as long as possible. From the way it runs and looks, that, hopeful, will be a long while more.
Based on my/our experiences with Buick I would unhesitantly recommend (and have) Buick to anyone who wants a quality, dependable and reliable car that offers quality service with a feeling of ownership confidence and a taste of sensible luxury.
