Great Customer Service!

We were on vacation 2,000 miles from home when I (for some reason) looked down and noticed our van was missing a lug nut. Crump-Reese Chevrolet Buick Service Advisor Donald (Donnie) gave me a good time to stop by and quickly assessed the situation. He and the tech made sure all of our lug nuts were secure and that the van was safe to drive. Our vacation to the area's national parks was not impacted in any way. Thanks to the Crump-Reese team for making sure my family was safe.
I also observed Donnie being very patient working with another customer. That customer was vacationing in the area and had mechanical trouble with his Mercedes Benz. Donnie explained very clearly what he thought the problem was. However, he could not guarantee that would fix the situation because the dealership is Chevrolet-Buick and did not have the computer equipment to read or diagnose the Mercedes-Benz computer. He gave the customer options without being pushy, and he was even willing to discuss the situation via phone with the customer's more familiar mechanic at home. I think the customer was frustrated at the thought of having mechanical difficulties away from home, but Donnie went above and beyond trying to explain the situation and being honest that he did not have the Mercedes computer equipment necessary to diagnose the issue with certainty.
Based on my two observations, this looks like a great service team that is honest and caring! Thanks.
