2024 Buick Encore GX review
My wife and I are very pleased with our 2024 Encore GX purchased used w/ only 2500 mi on the clock. The Encore GX is one of the current Buick lineup of 3 small SUVs for about $25k; I suspect these hidden gems are unknown to many Americans. Unfortunately Buick's focus on China has resulted in the Buick brand being all but forgotten in the US. The NHTSA has given a ***** Overall Safety Rating to the 2024 GX. I have one negative with the Encore -- I'm 6'-1" and the Encore is small for me. Some call the cabin "surprisingly roomy" for a sub-compact suv. Truth be said IT'S JUST SMALL. Likes * 1.2L Turbo engine surprisingly strong in city driving * Entry-level luxury at a moderate price * Fun to drive (some call it boring) * Lots and lots and ... of safety features * Excellent mileage (30+ mpg) for an ICE SUV * Sits up high (as a SUV should!) due to 18" wheels * Quiet cabin due to Buick's QuietTuning technology * Heated seats, steering wheel, outside mirrors * Physical buttons/knobs for radio, climate controls -great * Power hatch/liftgate w/ kick plate - very handy * Traction & Stability control Dislikes * 1.2L Turbo engine is somewhat challenged on the highway * Design same-same as every other small SUV on the road * Digital Speedo and NO Tach; I prefer the real thing * Seats are narrow, hard and uncomfortable on long trips * Road noise is worse than expected for a Buick * Small cargo area w/o rear seat backs down * Insufficient legroom in back seats * Insufficient rear headroom for tall persons * AM/FM/Satellite radio difficult to program * VERY sensitive brakes and accelerator

R.B. Fries, Inc.Reviews
R.B. Fries, Inc. review
My husband bought me a car from R.B.Fries in Vandling, PA and it was a wonderful experience. After searcing locally for a Buick Lacrosse, we didn't find one that we thought was in the condition/price range that suited us. Then I spotted my dream car in on the internet at R.B.Fries' website. My husband called Howard and he invited us to come down and see the car. From the moment we arrived at R.B.Fries, Howard made our auto purchase nothing short of pleasurable. We received a warm, friendly welcome, and Howard had the car out front and ready for us to test drive. It was amazingly clean and in perfect condition for a used car. We found Howard to be extremely knowledgeable, provided us with every detail imaginable about the car, and he was very professional. He patiently answered all of our questions, was pressure-free, and went above and beyond to make car buying a worry-free experience. We feel that we got an exceptional value and were fortunate to have found R.B.Fries. I could not be happier with my vehicle or the purchase process. The car is in perfect condition inside and out and the price was fair. We'll be back! We highly recommend going to R.B.Fries if you're in the market for a new or slightly used vehicle. Vandling, PA is a beautiful, scenic place to visit as well. Finally, we would also like to thank Finance Manager Chris Spaulding. This deal would not have been possible without his patience and diligence in finding a way to make it work for us. Thank you Howard and Chris!

Robert Basil Buick GMC CadillacReviews
Robert Basil Buick GMC Cadillac review
My experience was very good. Gavin was a good salesperson. However, I would NEVER EVER recommend a salesperson to tell ANY customer to put down $14,000 which was incredibly obscene for a down payment on a 3 year lease. You should NEVER be that hungry for a commission. My favorite salesperson that I knew for 35 years at West Herr East Aurora would never recommend that to me. That is the trust you build with your salesperson-customer relationship. If I had to do this all over again--I definitely would NOT. It was too late to back out of this deal. Basil is known for great deals, and this was definitely NOT a great deal no matter how you spin it. I was under much pressure myself to get a new car due to previous lease expiring, tariffs coming into the mix soon and my mom having cancer with only a few months to live. But, this scenario will never happen again, I will make sure of that.
2023 Buick Envision review
Just had my first major car repair at 44k miles. Some steering sensor that could cause me to lose power steering. Had I not had the extended warranty I would be responsible for the $5k repair bill. We are barely out of the manufacturers warranty! Other than that, I love this car but already expecting to get rid of in the next year due to the unknown.

Mario was very helpful & attentive. I ended up buying a car from a friend but if I hadn't I would definitely want to work with Mario again. BTW I've never been to the lot so I can't really rate that. I did notice that the prices were higher than other lots.

2024 Buick Enclave review
This is a replacement from 2011 Chevy Traverse. Similar size but 2X the comfort & quietness. Average AWD gas milleage is 24mpg in the highway and 21mpg combined. Love the 360 degree camera and sensors. 54k miles now and the only thing that broke is the windshield washer pump ($38 part + 45min install). Reasonable priced for a 7 seater luxury car. ATF can be changed without lifting the car (5.3qts drain & fill). Cant go wrong with this lovely SUV.

Fixl Automotive of Bartonsville review
I’m so grateful to Elizabeth Crawley, better known as “the lady in the pink chair” at FIXL Automotive in Bartonsville! I walked in expecting a pushy salesperson, but Elizabeth immediately put me at ease. She listened to what I needed, understood what I could afford each month, and took my credit challenges seriously. She cared about finding a car I truly loved and felt comfortable buying. There was no pressure, and she made the whole process feel easy. I honestly didn’t think I would be able to buy a car, but Elizabeth made it happen! I love my car, I’ve been keeping up with my payments, and my credit score has gone way up. Thank you, Elizabeth, for your honesty, patience, and dedication. Working with you was a wonderful experience! Thank you FIXL Automotive!
2019 Buick Envision review
I’ve had my 2019 Buick Envision since January of this year (2023). We were traveling from GA to MS today and for the first time ever after hitting a bump two different times (a couple hours apart) our vehicle started vibrating and shaking terribly. Very concerning.

Tony at Fixl was amazingly helpful. We would recommend this dealership to anyone. It was easy to make an appointment to check out the car we wanted to test drive. Thanks once again to Tony and Fixl Automotive of Saylorsburg.
2024 Buick Envista review
Working on 2 years now with my new Buick, looking at this vehicle from the outside you really feel like you’re looking at an expensive car, the inside of the car is nicely done for the price point. First model year for the Envista. You have to expect some issues., I had my car in twice to have the radio reprogrammed or updated whichever you wanna call it. I’ve had the sunroof motor replaced as that has worn out. I haven’t had any other issues with the vehicle, the ride is great. It’s fairly quiet, it gets great gas mileage and it totally suits my need as far as space , comfort, and appearance. There are just a couple of things that I would change about this vehicle if I could. First, I would upgrade the sound system to something better, the sound system is pretty good but I bought the Avenir and one would think that model should’ve had a premium sound system. Express up windows could’ve been added, not just expressed down. The car could’ve used some additional sound deadening material. Buick are known for being quiet vehicles, I think the additional sound deadening and also maybe an 18 inch wheel in the satin nickel finish would’ve been nice. I have the 19 inch wheels and I think the 18 inch would’ve given it a better ride but it’s still pretty decent. The car is quiet however it is not that Buick quiet that I’ve had before in other Buicks. Would I buy this car again, probably not but not because there’s anything wrong with it, just because I would probably want to change. I’m at retirement age so I did buy this vehicle knowing I’m going to keep it probably as my last vehicle. Is it a nice vehicle absolutely, is it worth the money? Absolutely, should you buy one of these that’s entirely up to you after a test driving it, but I don’t think you would be disappointed as long as you understand what you’re paying for. You are not spending 40 to 50,000 on a vehicle buying this car and you’re getting something that looks definitely like it could be worth 40,000.

Sherwood Groves Auto Group, LLC review
I had an outstanding experience purchasing a new Ranger at Sherwood Groves Ford. I dealt with Scotty and I give him an A+. I turned in my '23 Ranger on lease 7 months early and they were able to find some equity on it to use towards my down payment. I drove 2.5 hours each way to get this new truck so that tells you all you need to know about how satisfied I am with this dealership. They will be my first contact when I'm ready for another one in 3 years!
2023 Buick Encore GX review
I know that here in Northern California, Buick isn't a very popular brand, but that means I was able to get a stunningly good deal on my new '23. I traded up from a low mileage '18 Buick Encore (not GX), and at the time of the transaction, it had a remarkable trade value. My dealer did a outstanding job on pre-sale prep and delivery. My sales rep answered my every question. I enjoyed the prior vehicle, and feel this new one will give me the same kind of driving experience. My added safety feature is the front accident/pedestrian avoidance and lane keep assist. I haven't had to use either yet, but feel good about having them aboard. This Buick strikes me as a hidden gem, full featured but still available at a price point that blows the other comparable Asian built imports out of the water.
