Used 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks for sale near Corbin, KY

I went in for a test drive. I’d called ahead and the vehicle (CR-V hybrid) was pulled up front and ready to go. A quick interaction with the manager and the salesman (which may have gone faster because I was already in their system from a prior visit) and we were off on a good test route. The salesman, Sasha, was knowledgeable about his product and easy to converse with, and asked good questions to get a feel for what I was looking for. No hard sell. If all dealership interactions were this efficient, effective and pleasant people would feel more positively toward dealership relationships.

In 2010 We bought a 2008 silverado. LT 5.3 engine. Two wheel drive. I still drive it everyday. Regular oil changes. This truck had 26k on it. Today it has 156k. Battries. Breaks, plugs and wires. Thats it. -50 below outside, starts right up! Awesome! Proud owner.

The most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Ordered new Jan '08 (4x4 ext cab std bed, 5.3L). Truck has been used entire life for towing 5500# camper in the rockies with no issues. I changed all fluids at 5k, 50k & 100k miles. Wish I had a 6spd+ tranny when climbing mtn passes, but the 4L60E has been flawless. Fuel economy averages 17.7mpg not towing, 14.8mpg towing.

I have a 2008 Silverado with 330.000.00 miles on it. It still.runs great. I'm very religious about takeing care of it. Great truck. Very reliable. I'll keep it till wheels fall off..

Bought it used 2008 4.8 Silverado 4wd. Perfect in every way . Bought at 114,000 - would love to have it when was new . We sold a 2019 AT4 GMC giving us trans problems . Love the 2008

I drive this truck daily and often pull trailers. It has been very reliable and I am only now having issues at 181,000 miles. It smokes a little at startup and the body rot has started on door bottoms and over the fenders. I have driven this truck from CT to the Dakotas many times and the seats don’t make my back hurt. My passengers have plenty of space in the back seats.

Brand new to the area so it was nice to find a dealership close and staff ( Tiffany) that was easy to work with and very helpful.

After in-depth discussions with Bud (Mgr.) obtaining information with specific directed pictures obtained related to this vehicle with all the vehicle history (CARFAX) I decided I wanted to make the purchase, all questions related to the vehicle were answered to my satisfaction , arrangements were made to transport the vehicle to my residence. I can honestly say the vehicle met (exceeded) all my expectations . I would admit buying a car sight unseen is something I would not recommend for everyone however in my case I felt Bud was being very honest and forthright in all our exchanges. They were very helpful to me and helped me with getting a doolie from uhaul and having it there at the car lot ca se I was coming from over 290 miles away and had to go to the credit union to do paper work then come ba k for the truck I got there at 430 pm was done with everything and headed back home in less than 2 hours ,I woud.buy from them again

I wanted to leave a review because of the outstanding service I received this week when my anti-theft alarm would not stop going off. Everyone knows how extremely annoying that can be. It started on a Sunday when service was closed but Fernando De La Cruz in Sales went above and beyond to try to help remedy the problem. While Fernando is not a mechanic, he did try to help me eliminate some possible issues. He took a great deal of time with me and seemed to genuinely want to help resolve the issue. He reminded me of what a great salesperson I had when Kevin S. sold me the car. It is clear by my interaction with Fernando that this dealership hires professionals that put the needs of the customer first. The next day, I bought my car in nearly a day before the first available appointment that had been available through the dealerships online system. There was quite a line of cars in front of me but both Matt Coons and John Barlett were patient and helpful even though my appointment was for another day. I have dealt with Matt several times when I have bought my car in for maintenance, He has spoiled me with is prompt, knowledgeable and friendly service. This time was no exception. He kept his cool when there were several customers all of the counter people were trying to help while my alarm almost unseizingly continued to sound. After my initial visit, John Bartlett was my contact person and he made a real effort to return my calls and keep me updated. I have to note that this all occurred as the UAW strike was starting to heat up, so being able to get parts and know when they would arrive was becoming a bit challenging. I was planning an out of town trip and it was imperative that I had my car to get to the airport. John knew I was nervous about this and his updates helped to lessen my worry. John also gave me some "worst case scenario" suggestions that made the situation much less stressful. Finally, I have to thank Johnathan Chamberlain. I did not speak with Mr. Chamberlain but he is noted on my receipt as the person who inspected the car, so I believe he is the person that isolated the problem and installed the part, less than an hour after it arrived at the dealership. Without his expertise, I doubt very seriously that I would have my car back and in working order. With a such hardworking and conscious team, I know I did the right thing purchasing and having my car serviced at this dealership.
