I was shopping for a truck and had sent several offers out, most dealerships didn't even bother responding. While the truck they had was a little more than I wanted to spend, they responded cordially to my offer and were willing to work with me. I bought a truck elsewhere and J.D. actually took the time to ask me about it after the fact. I can't believe all the bad reviews. If the other dealership hadn't snapped up my offer, I would have worked with these guys on a new RAM with rebates in a heart beat, despite the distance. These guys took the time when few others could be troubled. I was impressed.

I approached Tre Kinney using Cars.com and he answered my questions promptly and provided the documents that I requested. He was pretty knowledgeable about the vehicle that I tested and anything that he did not know he refused to give us an answer on so as to avoid putting his foot in his mouth or just giving us what we wanted to hear, I respect this approach and it made me trust him more. We arrived in the evening (an hour before close) and when it came time to negotiate (dealership closing time) he sat with us and was patient in the approach. We counter offered three times and ultimately struck a deal. Tre and Carousel were willing to negotiate on the spot and were receptive to the reasoning behind my offer. Ultimately I got the deal I wanted and I am sure they got the deal they wanted. Win-win. Also a shout out to Chad in financing for sitting down and answering our questions. Highly recommend Tre and hope he does well at Carousel.
I was driving in to work and all of a sudden I had warning lights come on in my Trax. I had no idea what was wrong. So, I pulled in to Billion Chevy. It was a little before 7:30, and I didn't have an appointment. They took my vehicle right back and checked it. Nothing was wrong. They thought it was just from the sudden change in weather to cold temps. They reset the computer and checked the pressure in all of my tires. It was fine after that.
Not only Billion ,but my salesman did a terrific job. It is not easy car shopping during a Hawkeye game.
While waiting for finance they had the game on, beverages available. The salesman did not just leave me to sit there. He was talking with us the entire process. I appreciate the work they put into selling a vehicle. Having a reliable vehicle from a professional dealership who wont sell you a junk vehicle is a blessing.
My car was towed to the dealership from Cedar Rapids, the day before Thanksgiving. The repair was taken care of that day, including an oil change that I requested after the repair was made. Everything was done with the least amount of disruption in my plans for the holiday.
