Love my sonic. Peppy engine, quite ride. Seats could be a little wider but don't think it was designed for someone my size. Wish they still made them

We just recently purchased a Sonic to update an older vehicle. I think it will be a good reliable car. We haven’t driven in the snow that we normally get in the western PA winter months. The car is very stylish and has many perks for a smaller vehicle. We compare the Sonic to our Cruze which has many of the same similarities.

Bought used @ 8 yrs old. Very satisfied for retiree use and care. Great mileage. Some paint issues with rust on rear tire wells. It's Michigan winters & no garage.

I bought my 2012 Sonic used in 2014 with 30,000-ish miles on it. It's getting ready to turn 200,000 and going strong with no major work needed. I've done routine maintenance and replaced the battery once. That's it! I'm a happy customer :)

We bought a sonic lt with a 1.4 turbo engine, great gas mileage and no major problems. As long as you keep up the maintenance the reliability is great.

Had car 8 yrs only trouble I had was upper o2 snsir went out. Still runs like a kitten.Great sound system, easy steering wheel control. Drive it from Louisiana to North Carolina once a year great gas mileage.

The car itself is 4 stars, I only have 3 cons.. 1. the winshield wash sprayers are crap, The shoot 3 streams. I replaced mine with oem fan pattern sprayers for a cruze... 2. The headrest is tilted too far forward. And that can't be adjusted... so it can bounce off the back of your head. 3. The fuel tank capacity 12.2 gallons? I don't think I've ever put more than 10 in it. Sure the price at the pump is a nice result because of this. But the range (366 miles) makes you spend more time at the pump.

I absolutely love my 2013 Sonic it's pretty and has been very reliable. It runs great has fantastic gas mileage. It's a perfect car for a woman or a new driver. I have had it for 5 years and only had to replace the battery.

It's unfortunate the previous owners of the recent reviews had terrible ownership experiences . I have used this car for nearly four years without a single problem. Fun to drive, very spirited, great gas mileage, and outstanding handling at highway speeds. At 95,000 miles, no squeaks, wind noise, or rattles. its still very solid. Would highly recommend if you find a well cared for one. My only complaint is you would be hard pressed to fit four ave. size people at one time. But on the plus side it can fit in small spaces.

What a fun day we had with our salesman, Ron Zontini. He made the car-buying process easy. Despite the anxiety of purchasing a vehicle and the unfortunate demand during this pandemic, we got through it unscathed. It helped that we did our homework. I bought my 2017 Chevy Sonic LT sedan used last year with 45000 miles, what a great car, rides well, plenty of power, nice interior, solid car. Riding in it you can tell its the same chassis as the Buick Encore and Chevy Trax. Its a quiet well controlled ride and handles well too. It does exhibit some road noise but most cars in this class do. Plenty of interior room for me and I'm 6'2" I actually raise the seat up 2 notches and keep it somewhat forward in its track. I get a lot of compliments about it. Mileage is about 32 combined. Given the chance I'd buy it again without hesitation.

The Chevrolet Sonic is unique. Camera angles can make the little tank appear aggressive, but it is more of a wagon, I think. This car is incredibly safe. It is like driving pure clarity of mind. I highly recommend the Chevrolet Sonic for all highway and interstate travel. This car was rammed by a Honda sedan once, and the Honda was damaged beyond repair while the Chevy tank barely suffered at all. If the car defines how you are in life, though, steady is the best word for the Chevy Sonic. There is always a reason for everything we do, and the Chevy is rock solid. #lovemychevytank
