The best way to describe the Dodge Nitro is a Butch Caravan, the engine and transmission feel like a minivan the 4.0 V6 gets the job done but it doesn't sound particularly good it's that very annoying V6 pitch the transmission is very slow to respond and wants to keep it in the highest gear possible it makes the 260HP V6 feel like an NA 4 Cylinder unless your full throttle, That being said the engine and transmission do work and the engine isn't that bad reliability wise the 4x4 works great and the brakes are perfectly adequate, 16 city 22 Highway fine for a V6 of this Era. The interior quality is fine it's nothing to write home about but it's not so cheap it will break when touched the front seats are comfortable and the radio is not bad, rear seats look the same to the front but are cheaper usually the seats are folded down and it can store lots of stuff. One highlight coming from Modern E-pass vehicles is the hydraulic steering it feels like a truck in a small chassis however the ride quality is terrible driving this on less than perfect roads would make you believe you're in a hatchback on cheap coilovers. All of that being said this is a perfectly adequate vehicle that works and hauls stuff not bad for $1,200.

I bought a new 2010 Dodge Nitro Shock 4 x 4. It has been a fun and fantastic SUV. At 240k miles, I had the transmission and drive train replaced. The body & interior have held up remarkably well! I hope they bring them back to production! Love this car!

Chase was so amazing and helpful throughout the entire process. He was awesome and let us look at the car without being pushy. Easy to talk to and got the process done quickly and efficiently. I have a 2010 nitro last week I was rear ended. It took the hit like a champ. Barely any damage. My only issue is there's barely any leg room or and dash room. To put anything but a great vechile
