2012 Ford Explorer review
We have owned a 2012 explorer since it was brand new. Lots of room for cargo. Lots of leg room Powerful We do routine oil changes on it Amd fix whatever needs tending to…..Our yearly to year and a half maintenance that needs doing is rear bushings that run about 350 The paint chipped on the front hood a few years back but no rust there yet. I am starting to notice a bit of rust starting down by driver door probably from salt from the roads in our Canadian winters. But it handles amazing on ice and snow (with winter tires of course). Driver door rear has started to unstitch. The original Headlights were phenomenal to see down our dark deer filled hiways. However we changed them out and they are not in comparison to what we had. We also just changed our brakes. For having 282+ KMs in it. I will be driving it until it drops

2017 GMC Acadia review
Have had lots of problems with the wheel sensors. New tires and new sensors and still have the same issue. Shows tire low and it is not. Just car not even two years the air conditioning would not blow out cold air. The compressor in the back went out, need to be replaced. Side car waring lights come on sometimes even though no car anywhere near me. Fold in mirrors are a joke the driver side comes in and out, however the passenger side sticks. Dealer said yeah that happens. This car is garage kept!

2018 Ford Focus review
Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.

Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

It has been 20 years since my husband and I purchased a new car. Mainly because it's been a relief not having car payments, but also we always dread the hassle of finding the perfect car and striking a deal we can afford to live with. All of that changed a couple of weeks ago when my daughter-in-law happened to see my "dream car" on Tri-City Ford's website. I immediately went home and looked it up for myself. Because I showed an interest on-line, I received a text/email from Kyle, their internet sales manager. He offered to set up a NO obligation test drive at our convenience. He was so helpful and considerate of our time and wanted to make sure someone would be available to assist us at the time of the appointment. He continued to check in through the day so he could make sure all was ready when we pulled onto the lot. Our salesman, Terry was wonderful and never pushy. He could tell I was in love with the car by the end of the test drive and kindly offered to check and see what our options would be if we were interested. I was MOST DEFINITELY interested! The car is only 2 years old, in pristine condition and even still has that "new car" smell! 🥰 As I said, we always dread the hassle and haggling to get that perfect deal at a price we can afford, but this time, quite pleasantly, it wasn't a nightmare. We came to an agreement so quickly and easily that it seemed almost painless. Terry allowed us the time and privacy to discuss our options before making our final decision and never rushed us. Once we decided to make the purchase, they washed the car and filled it with a full tank of gas to get it ready for it's new home!! Even though it was cold and dark by the time we were ready to leave with our "new baby", Terry still showed us how to use several of the features we weren't used to on our older cars to get us started. Things have changed alot in 20 years!! Cleve Foley, who helped us with all of the final paperwork, was so patient, guiding us thru the multitude of signatures, making it easy to complete the process. When returning a week later to pick up my license plate, he met me at the door to put it on the car for me and while doing so, answered some of my new questions on the those great new features I'm still learning. They have continued to check on me during the past 2 weeks to make sure I'm satisfied or to see if I have any new questions or concerns. I appreciate their kindness, patience and consideration that my time is as valuable as theirs. We never felt pressured or rushed to make any decisions we didn't feel comfortable with. Our experience was A+++ and enabled me to have the "Car of my Dreams" at a price we can afford. My husband says I am "like a kid with a new toy!" We were both very impressed with the professionalism and positivity of our experience. We would highly recommend Tri-City to anyone shopping for that perfect new vehicle. Anthony handled the situation with great ease. The other dealership was a total disaster and we called Anthony and said we were sold on his truck. When we returned he had everything all set and we were able to complete the purchase. Overall an outstanding job. Would highly recommend to anyone looking of a Ford.
2018 Ford F-150 review
Eight years in my Ford truck. I love it. I looked at GM trucks (Chevy & GMC), still nowhere nears as comfortable as a Ford. Yes I’ve had all the known issues but carried warranties for my truck so transmission has been overhauled. Cam phasers twice (Covered by Ford one and Warranty 2nd time). Just overhauled the front end (bushings, control arm assembly, etc…). Truck still runs like new and rides even better now than when I bought, she is finally broken in and I love my truck. For taller drivers like me, Ford is way to go. Ford has more cabin space than any other truck out there. Ford trucks have the best styling and more towing capacity than anything else in the mkt. Next truck will either be a Raptor or F-250 super duty.

2021 RAM 1500 review
One of the best trucks I’ve ever owned. I wanted the 5.7 hemi, but wasn’t sold on the e torque. After driving it for awhile, I’m totally in love with it! 395 hp and 410 ft lbs of torque. This thing is great!!

2022 RAM 2500 review
We wound up taking our 22 ram 2500 cummins over Sonora Pass due to a computer routing error(no signs either). This was while hauling a 13,000lb. 5th wheel. Tranny got hot pulling up the east side but cooled right back down after 15 minute stop.. Brakes overheated coming down west side but able to get stopped and let them cool for 45 minutes. we made it using 4 low. do not recommend trying this but the truck performed amazingly.... wont buy another brand after this adventure. Sonora Pass is a 26% grade up and down btw

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
This is my first Jeep I have ever owned. I always liked the looks of the Grand Cherokee. I’m happy with the vehicle. No complaints except it does like to drink gasoline. My previous 4 vehicles were all 8 cylinder full size pickup trucks. The Jeep being a 6 cylinder eats more gas. The Other than that, I’m very happy with my purchase of my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Good looks, drives well, comfortable and safe.

2013 Toyota 4Runner review
I purchased this 4Runner new, have only driven it moderatelybut far back into rarely ever traveled areas — definitelyfar away from any crowds. I do all maintenance myself, and there is extremely little of that. I have only replaced the original battery once. It handles very well in all situations. I did and strongly do recommend getting the factory high quality stabilizer system. Mine is a 4x4 Trail Edition and I ever so greatful for that. That provides truly complete 4 wheel drive but only when needed. Being a car mechanic when young, a Marine Colonel and a retired Professor of Plasma physics and Quantum Electrodynamics, I carefully studied all vehicles and options far in advance. The Toyota V-6 engine is famous for its extreme durability as is every part of the vehicle. I did, as a possibly excessive caution, replaced the perfectly good radiator with a larger, no–plastic radiator possessing far better transmission cooler. Also being a private airplane pilot for over 65 years, I have long ago learned to be pro-active rather than reactive. Silicone hoses and best quality German full synthetic oil in engine, transmission and both differentials. The European oil standards are far beyond American and aggressive testing has proven that beyond any doubt. I have also replaced the cheapy passenger car tires and wheels with full beadlock, wider, negative offset wheels (all 5) with Toyo 8-ply rated 275/75–17" tires (34"), improved the factory shocks with King 2-¾" shocks & springs, et al. Yes, I also designed & built high quality fore & aft stainless steel bumpers to carry an 10mt hydraulic winch and double swing out locking rear bumper to carry 3 20 liter NATO gas cans, high lift jack, 4 traction panels and the oversized spare tire. The driving and riding quality is genuinely wonderful. This vehicle will out live both my equally fantastic wife and myself, as well as the next series of owners. Just nothing ever goes wrong with it (full skid plates help). To date, I have never known of a more practical, pleasant, reliable vehicle, and we have gone to some very 'dicey' places without any fear of getting stuck or damaged. I honestly have never even heard of any vehicle remotely as reliable and comfortable even for long trips as the 4Runner. I had a 1987 4Runner but the 4 cylinder engine, while excellent, was just not powerful enough, although I did much prefer the standard 5 speed manual transmission over the current automatic transmission. In approximately 400,000 miles over 27 years, I only replaced the battery twice.

2022 Ford Bronco Sport review
I have a '22 Base. My wife and I love it. We needed a 4x4 when we move to a more rural state and although we're generally happy with the vehicle, we can't help roll our eyes of the number of recalls and reliability questions surrounding the model. Had I known about the difference in the 1.5L to 2L engines, I'd have opted for the 2L engines, but that's only available at the top trimmed Badlands. This is almost the perfect vehicle for a two person household who has a dog, likes to take day trips and it pretty good on fuel economy (32mpg over 15k miles). The interior is pretty cheap, however. I would recommend the vehicle, however, but only with the 2L engine and only with a warranty. There are just too many concerns with this vehicle to own it without a warranty
