Exactly How Car Buying Should Be! After a long day at work I walked into Lithia Ford around 5 PM knowing the exact truck, price, advertised discounts, and interest rate I wanted. Kris Thaxston was fantastic. I showed him a printed copy of the window sticker to comfirm that truck was on the lot and avaliable. I then told him what my down payment was and the terms and out the door price I expected. He handled everything completely exceeding my expectations. I was out the door and on my way home in an hour and a half driving my new truck with the exact terms and monthly payment I wanted. Right before I drove off in 101 degree weather, Kris offered to show me how the A/C and controls worked on the dashboard screen. Me being me, I said, "No, I've got it, I'll figure it out!" That turned into a hilarious ordeal on my 40-minute drive home up the mountain. As I was randomly button-mashing the screen while driving in 101-degree weather to get the air conditioner on, I can officially confirm the heated seats work exceptionally well! Finally a friend suggested to take a ride out to Surprise Ford..sure what's one more dealership, right? What we found wasn't just a dealership, but a team working to get us what we wanted, work within our budget and make sure we were satisfied with our decision. We bought a 2017 Explorer XLT. Yes the vehicle can pretty much sell itself, but the staff at Surprise Ford gave that personal and professional touch that made the decision to buy that day the right one for us. Yes...I am still charmed by that new car smell, but I have not second guessed where I purchased from for even a second. No buyers remorse here. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle...take a ride out to Surprise Ford at the 303 and Waddel. Yes it's a little far for some...but it's more than worth your time
