Lou Bachrodt Auto MallReviews
Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall review
I had the BEST car shopping experience here. I never felt pressured to know exactly what I want or to buy a new top of the line right then and there. Steve was a gem and listened to what I wanted and kept my budget in mind. He was realistic with expectations and never pressured me into anything. With other dealerships, I felt trapped like I couldn't leave until I bought something from them. Not here. Steve understood that buying a car was a huge commitment and let me have my time to think about what I wanted and what was available in my budget. I was able to leave the dealership to think about my options and wasn't hounded with calls and messages asking me when I was going to buy or what the dealership could do to make me a customer. I had space to think and make a decision that didn't feel forced. Even when I bought my new car, everything was explained in detail and they made sure to give me time to ask questions so I knew EXACTLY what I was getting into. As a first time car buyer, this was a dream of an experience. I had been to 3 other dealerships and Lou Bachrodt is second to none. If you live in the Rockford area, this is the place to shop for a car and make sure to ask for Steve!
2016 Ford F-350 review
I have a 2016 F350 XLT 4x4 single rear wheel with the 6.2 gas. It has ample power and has been 100% reliable with slightly over 100K miles on it. I have a Palamino truck camper and pull a 16' tandem axle trailer with two ATV. The big complaint is the gas mileage which struggles empty to get over 10 mpg, maybe on a long trip on Interstate keeping it at 65-70 mph, 11 mpg. With my load more typically 8 mpg. As was expected for a one ton, empty it has no suspension. Even on a brand new asphalt overlaid road, the ride is rough.

I just bought an F350 diesel 8 foot bed crew cab limited edition. The only thing I can say is wow what a nice machine. I just finished a 1600 mile trip towing a vehicle behind us and got 17.4 miles per gallon on the diesel, it is an awesome machine and I would highly recommend it. The power

2001 Ford F-350 review
I currently have a 99 Superduty 4wd extra cab. 7.3L power stroke, I recently purchased a 2001 quad cab 4wd. It is my opinion that the 7.3 is the best to date motor that ford has put in any of its trucks. Good touch motors, decent fuel efficiency and when chipped provide all the power for towing that I need. If you know how to take care of the truck it will take care of you.

2017 Ford F-350 review
The F-350 King Ranch is the most comfortable riding, most powerful & reliable, best towing and handling of any truck on the market. We drove all brands and selected the F-350 hands down. It tows 5th wheels with ease and it's so stable it feels like it is on rails. The interior is beautiful, the ride is smooth and quiet, and the controls are superior.

2012 Ford F-350 review
2012 F-350 XLT…this is my third one but 1st diesel and 1st one bought used, that being said,it is without a doubt the best I’ve owned BUT…when it is out of warranty do 1 of 3 things…trade it in on a new one with warranty, look into extended warranty or make sure you know a diesel mechanic or are a mechanic yourself because when something happens to the DEF system or the engine itself, you will literally take a second mortgage out to repair it and I’m not even kidding!! These are the best of the best trucks on the road but after that is when it gets rough.Fords customer service and service department are a joke and it’s what corporate says that goes, not the dealer and they will fight you every step of the way so 5 star truck 1 star for everything else that goes with it

4x4 to keep me moving through mud, 7.3 diesel to tow anything, 4 doors so I can bring my friends and a big bed to haul everything. It runs great. Smooth and pretty quiet. The interior is classy and the exterior looks like a truck should.

Great dealership, nice people, took great care of me and made the transaction very simple, they were ready for me the moment I arrived, we went for a test drive, put the vehicle up on a rack so I could look under and make the purchase, I was in and out quickly! Will do business with them again!
2001 Ford F-350 review
Got an xlt 7.3 f350 and this thing hauls in more ways than one. The powerstroke 7.3 engine now has 200,000 on it and with just regular maintenance it still feels and looks pretty new. It tows a 8500lb boat up hills with ease. The style of the truck is honestly kinda bland to me and the stock wheels look oddly small but other than that it has been the most reliable vehicle I’ve owned. Better than toyota even.
